How to get the BEST ROI% on Facebook

Hi Everyone,

I have been doing Facebook campaigns for a very long time and have had ROI% of ranging from 1200% to all the way up to 335,000% - Yes, It has been done! I have had one day where I spent $3 on an ad and made a $10,000 client.

When working with Facebook ads, you have to be extremely specific in who you want to target and extremely specific on the offer + pricing. The best thing I can say about Facebook is that you can target your demographics in a way where you can provide them a solution to their problem.

Just to give you some examples :
- Dentists looking for leads
- College students looking for jobs
- Engaged couples looking for photographers

So with all that said, here's the exact steps I personally use to create successful campaigns on Facebook :

Step #1 - Find who your target market is and what their interests are using Facebook audience insights (https://www.facebook.com/ads/audience_insights/)

Step #2 - Create your ad creative on Facebook

Step #3 - Target the specific markets via audience insight specific to the solution you can provide for them

Step #4 - Create your ads + images and rinse + repeat

Eventually you want to be able to cover the costs of your overhead with the sales that you are making on your Facebook ad. Here's just an example of a Facebook campaign that has generated well over $500 + recurring every month.



When creating your Facebook campaign, you want to make sure that you are always testing different ads. Creating different ads and targeting different demographics is the key to making it a successful campaign.

      To make it worth your while should always have a $500 budget that you could use to test to see what's working and what doesn't work.

    To inscrease the ROI, you need to optimize the CPC first as this is the indicator that your ads campaign is running to a right target, then Split test the Call to action and Banner that attract more actions. For me, I only run Facebook ads if there is promotional offer (competitive price or somthing that encourage the audience to take action today!)

    You will always be optimizing your CPC, but the most important factor to improving your ROI% is to make sure that your landing pages are converting and your offer is selling.

    I can get clicks all day, but if my offer is crap and my sales funnel is crap - I won't get any sales

    @Ippokratis - I usually use optimization for website conversions and use a tracking pixel to see how many people have taken action on an offer (i.e. submit their information, purchased a product, etc.)

    Usually clicks and impressions don't mean much to me as conversions and sales

      Hi Sanj,

      #1 - We get them all through Facebook ads & targeting the right demographics
      #2 - We use Facebook's conversion pixel

      There are a number of factors that take into play as well such as copywriting, landing page, images, etc.

      Just have to keep testing to find the right one!

You may not be able to quantify ROI as accurately as you would for other aspects of your business. By tracking the same data points over time, however, you’ll get a better sense of which Facebook campaigns prove successful and which do not.

      It's almost always best to have a landing page for your offers.

      Landing page + sales funnels = success

      You can however send the traffic directly to the vendor site but 90% of the time, you will not make a sale. Make the relationship first before making the sale.

      I've been getting a ton of PMs about how to start and what to do.

      The best way to start is by TAKING ACTION!

      Each campaign is different and you will never know what you end up with until you take action. All of the big guys on Facebook will go into campaigns not knowing the outcome (unless they have seen results already in that industry).

      Just take action and get your campaigns started!
