Custom landing page or direct product landing page with offers

I have been using clickbank and wanted to know when using Bing,FB, etc. are you using a custom landing page that then links to product url or are you linking directly to the offer with your affiliate credentials attached. I have been using the list building method with a custom landing page and while I am getting emails they are not buying the actual product.

More details would be needed to answer more thoroughly. However, if you are trying to get decent people to buy, then I think collecting the emails and repeatedly marketing the products is the way to go.
