FB vs Google for book

What do you think is more effective, Ad spend on Google or use FB network and spend $ on promoted post, page, etc to sell a book.

This is not a "how to" book it's basically a ground -breaking history book about a famous person.

    Anyone recommending one of the other is just giving you their preference, which is not really a true answer to your question.

    They can both work, and which works best various from one offer to another, and to a great extent on your strategy and how well it is implemented. The best way to find out is to test both and let the data from your test answer the question.

    I am of the opinion that you should try both, you might find that there is synergy when you combine marketing channels.

    It's hard to say, if you can target the interest/niche on facebook it might work, at the same time google might work well as well. Why not try them both?

    Then, feel free to come back here and share with us what works best for you.
    Just an advice, sometimes it is better to try it ourselves so will be able to know the best answer to our question.
    It is all about experiment and experience, try it out, maybe next time you will be able to share something to use. That might help other people too.
