Hi Members, I Just optimized my Plug-in site with some new keywords. But when I type in the url, it's the old site coming up. I have to type the new index extension -indexmoney.html- to the url to see the page that I optimized. How can I get the new keyword optimized page to come up when I type in my website address -Home Business Ideas and Opportunities at Attend4Profit.com My first post in the Warriors Forum What is meant by adding tags to this thread? Adrian |

index.html will be the file that is displayed for your home page. You apparently made the changes to indexmoney.html Rename index.html (old) to something like index1.html or indexold.html Then Rename indexmoney.html to index.html IF you are sure all is well with that version. |

Hi Adrian, Welcome to pips. I'm assuming the page you have optimized from what you are saying is your front page ......your index.html page ? by what you are also saying, you have named it indexmoney.html. If that is the case, what you have done is created a completely new page when in reality, what you wanted to do is edit your existing index.html. Okay, assuming I am correct in my assumptions, here is what you need to do: First off, open your index.html and save it as indexbak.html or indexold.html. This ensures you can revert back to your original if you have made any errors. Then open your new page and save it as index.html. refresh your browser and then when you type in your url, you should get the new page up. I hope this helps. Graham Then |

Hi Adrian, welcome to the forum and PIPS. Follow the advice of Pat and Graham. Both are right, so it's a matter of which steps are easier to follow. Feel free to ask more questions at any time as you'll get a lot of help here. There's a lot of valuable information posted already so do spend some time browsing the different threads. Some questions may already be answered. All the Best, Alan |
