Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but how/where can I check the stats for my PIPS affiliate link, i.e. http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-27442? It's not part of my domain name so it''s not included with the webalyzer stats and I didn't see anything in the host4profit affiliates area.

You should use something more accurate and install statcounter.com or google analytics. They are both free and give you true website traffic. Leon |

Hello, webatomic: Great question! I've always wondered that, too, but have never looked into it. Leon has suggested StatCounter or Google Analytics, which both work great for our personal marketing sites (i.e. StarrBizz.com), but I don't know if we can load those tools into our PIPS sales page. Experienced PIPSters - what say you? GT |

GT, I know I can access any web page with Kompozer and look at the html and all, but to add the Statcounter code and publish it back to the original site doesn't appear to be possible. Perhaps this is a service that could be somehow included into the PIPS sales pages somehow for better tracking? |

I use statcounter.com (which is free) to check my stats at least once a day the type of stats you can view are: Statistics Summary, Popular Pages, Entry Pages, Exit Pages, Came From, Keyword Analysis, Recent Keyword Activity, Recent Came From, Search Engine Wars, Exit Links, Exit Link Activity, Downloads, Download Activity, Visitor Paths, Visit Length, Returning Visits, Recent Pageload Activity, Recent Visitor Activity, Recent Visitor Map, Country/State/City/ISP, Browsers, System Stats, Lookup IP Address, Download Logs, The ones highlighted in red are the ones I use to check on any click thrus of affiliate links such as the pips link. I hope this helps. Graham Quote:

Are you looking for a business opportunity that’s property related? Well, the answer may be closer than you think – right on your doorstep perhaps. In fact, there’s money to be made anywhere you see a property for sale. Let me explain… | ||

Are you able to view stats for your PIPS sales page? Or are you only talking about your marketing website(s)? We are trying to find a way to check the sales page stats. (By the way, I agree that StatCounter is an excellent resource. I appreciate all of the points and benefits you just mentioned in your post.) GT | |

I'm talking about when someone clicks on my main pips affiliate link which takes someone to the sales page. host the sales page on your own site....you can see mine on my new site........you can't change anything on it though, so be wary of that. graham |

Again, that is awesome! You have the entire PIPS sales page embedded into your own website page! I have so many technical questions about how you did that and how you make sure all the links on the sales page function the same as the regular PIPS sales page ... but I'm supposed to be doing something else right now and shouldn't still be here! ![]() Just one question: Did you simply copy the source code from the PIPS sales page and paste it into your HTML editor, then edit it for font style, size, colour, etc.? | That's one way around it! I use my link cloaking program to track clicks, but that only works for links I place, i.e. it won't track links in the dotocomology PDF for example.

The version of the sales page you should be using is the one that is yourdomain.com/pips.html (replace yourdomain.com with your PIPS Site domain name) This URL will redirect to the affiliate link pluginprofitsite.com/main-##### Not only is it 100 times more professional but it is a page on your domain and as such should be trackable. |

Hi, I use a framed page for my PIPS sales page. The page is Plug-In Profit Site I was able to add the Statcounter to this page and I can view all the stats for it. You can do the same by copying and pasting this code and replacing my PIPS ID with your own and replacing my statcounter page with your own: Code: <HEAD><TITLE>Plug-In Profit Site</TITLE> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=iso-8859-1"> <meta name="description" content="Plug-In Profit Site"> <meta name="keywords" content="Plug-In Profit Site"> <meta name="revisit-after" content="5 days"> <meta name="robots" content="index,follow"> <meta name="language" content="en-us"> <meta name="resource-type" content="document"> </HEAD> <!-- Start of StatCounter Code --> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript"> var sc_project=529985; var sc_invisible=1; var sc_partition=3; var sc_security="9ce123d3"; var sc_remove_link=1; </script> <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="http://www.statcounter.com/counter/c...<noscript><img src="http://c4.statcounter.com/counter.ph...mp;invisible=1" alt="how much traffic is going to my site" border="0"> </noscript> <!-- End of StatCounter Code --> <FRAMESET BORDER=0 FRAMESPACING=0 FRAMEBORDER=0 rows="0,*"> <FRAME NAME="top" SCROLLING="no" MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0"> <FRAME NAME="main" SRC="http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/main-4231" SCROLLING="yes" MARGINWIDTH="0" MARGINHEIGHT="0"> <noframes> Cheers, Suzanne |
