Auto changing my PIPs name

Hi,
Since few months I am a member of PIPs forum.
Today I found and shocked that my website name
is automatically changing after posting to this forum.
My PIP website is Work from Home Based Business
whereas I found it appears as http://www.xtramoneygoober.com

Can any body help me in this regard ?

When I click those links, I just get an error report from Google saying the link is broken.

Can you post the URL of your website, but without the http or the www in front of it?

you just type "G+u+r+u" inplace of "goober" to get my website.

XtraMoneyGoober.com is your pips site, right? It's fine, although don't know why you can't use the link here.

If you are saying XtraMoneygoober was XtraMoneyG-u-r-u then I would say contact the Forum helpdesk.

There is something they are doing to change certain words like for instance if I type G-U-R-U here as with you it turns into Goober.

Yes that is what is happening - I typed g-u-r-u without hyphens and it turned into Goober.

They must hate that word -

There are worse ones - be glad you don't use.

No the forum has nothing to do with PIPS as far as your domain.

The only problem is you can't use it in the forum.

I wouldn't spend money on a new domain and worse than money you would lose all the momentum you have built in your marketing.

Just use the other link here. Maybe you can put a PIPS banner on affiliatemoneymakingtips.com

Now, this is very interesting. The Warrior Forum is changing words it doesn't like?

I can understand the concern and the reasoning behind some of it, but in my opinion, changing someone's website name as they have done here is going a little extreme.

Again, I kind of understand the reasoning and I do appreciate the attempt to keep things proper. But in this instance, it makes me wonder.

Yes it is pretty radical alright. I don't think they intended to change anyone's domain name IN THEIR SIGNATURE, but just meaningless 'buzz words' that get obnoxious after the first million.

Try typing 'b-l-a-c-k-h-a-t' with no hyphens.

I do see your point about the shock factor. And I'm sure that once people who use that word in their promotional posts find out how ridiculous their posts now look, they will quickly change their ways! Purpose served. lol

Just so you know, in an earlier post, when I mentioned the "forum admin" I meant the administrator of the entire WF forum (the Top Guy), not mods or admin of any particular section or category.

In the case of telling us about b-l-a-c-k-h-a-t, I appreciate that you did, Patricia, and I consider that kind of communication to be purposeful and helpful. So, keep up the good work!

I am a member of this forum since 6 months . I joined PIPS but till now looking for any sale. During the last few days I found the spelling of my own website is changing on this forum only when I try to post. When I asked I was being replied that the forum is own by some one and PIPS is a partner.

Now I ask openly:

Is the PIPS forum is someone's own property?
Is it possible that what he/they want to change is possible on their part!
Are we safe here?

As far as I know the PIPS forum is part of the Warrior Forum which is owned by Allen Says. Stone Evans started this forum and it is held in high regards because of all of the Host4Profit sales it brings in which also benefits Allen Says.

This has been explained to you several times now, here and the helpdesk.

Allen Says owns the Warrior Forum. We are lucky enough to have our PIPS member support forum here.

Allen Says makes the rules. He has every right to make whatever rules he wants, to allow whoever he wants to use his property, and to ban whoever doesn't follow his rules.

It is unfortunate that you use one of the words he objects to in your domain name.

PIPS has nothing to do with this and does not control the Warrior Forum rules.

This has NO AFFECT ON YOUR DOMAIN NAME OUTSIDE OF THIS FORUM.

You own YOUR domain name - LEGALLY YOU HAVE REGISTERERD THE NAME. Nobody can change the name - You can buy another name and move your site BUT THERE IS NO REASON TO DO THAT.

The only thing that is affected is your signature in Allen Says' Warrior Forum.

NOT YOUR DOMAIN -NOT YOUR WEBSITE. THOSE ARE YOURS.

I am sorry that for some reason you can't understand what I am saying or else you do not believe me.

I am sorry for what has happened.

Now will you please drop it and focus on promoting your PIPS business?
