Is this the Sequence of PlugInProfit Success!
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hello friends,

Being new to PIPS (Stone Evans version), I would like to lay out what I understand to be the sequence when launching this Business.

  • Purchase Host4Profit website with one's Domain for $24.95 mth.
  • This will include a Customized PlugInProfitSite and all the trimmings.
  • Join GDI for $10 mth.
  • Join Empowerism for $30 mth.
  • Join LawnChairMillionaire for $50 setup and $30 mth.
  • Buy minimum 10,000 visitors for $70.
  • Join the Co-op system for $267 year.
  • Join TrafficSwarm Pro for $30 mth.
Total investment would be around $300 and $148 mth if all the suggested "trimmings" are employed.

I would really appreciate it if PIP members would give me their opinions and comments. I have seen websites that suggest one doesn't just buy all the add-ons, but rather build their own site/blog by submitting articles weekly, backlinking, joining popular Forums such as this one, tweak your PlugInProfit website to add affiliates, links, SEO code and other promotional tools.

I want to join PIP Power Group, but they are too rich for me at the moment, as I am looking for ways to start generating, even a small, income first - before launching outwith the Guru's!

Thanks for your time and patience with a "Newbie" and I look forward to comments at www.rayhoughton.com or email at thecondor1@gmail.com

Ray Houghton.

Hi Ray,
You have not to join every program suggested by Stone except the the Host4Profit.
For any other program you can wait and drive traffic on your site with free or less expensive methods first. You can join the affiliates programs anytime later when you're familiar with the system...
Myself I joined everything at the begining but it didn't bring much result. The most important is to go through the 30 Day Training one or two times, try free methods first and later decide if you want to invest in some programs suggested by Stone in the Training.

As for PIPS Powergroup I can say: "I wish, I had joined it just the second day with PIPS... " but this is only my opinion. It depends on your budget.

Welcome to PIPS family
Prudence

I agree, I always use the free stuff. It's easier. I also have found that stuff I spent money on rarely panded out and the free stuff is where I made most of my profits. GDI for example. I got 98 percent of my team built with nothing but free advertising.

Right, what Prudence said.

Nothing required except domain and Host4Profit hosting to start.
(suggest free programs SFI and Warrior though)

Do the training. Do it again.

Do all the free stuff consistently and aggressively.*

Join some affiliate programs.

If you have the money take some of Stone's suggestions for paid advertising.*

(*the idea with the paid advertising though if you can afford it is to 'hit the ground running' and build some momentum while you are learning and doing the free stuff (blogging, article marketing, SEO, etc).

Set a budget you can live with comfortably OVER TIME and stick to it.

Thanks for bringing this issue up. I had the same questions, but I'm such a "Newbie" that I did not know how to ask the right questions. I don't know how to do all that Free stuff so I joined everything Stone suggested and spent all my money. I still have questions and would like some help.

I joined the Advertising Co-op for $97 and I can't seem to find any FAQ page or training on how to use the Co-op. I followed the instructions to "turn on automatic advertising"; and the link to "submit my first Press Release"; and to "Turn on your auto-article submissions." But where do you get the "information to register your blog for auto posting??". (i.e. where do I find my blog URL? Is my Blog URL the same as my PIPS website URL? Am I supposed to sign up at another website for a Blog?... if so where? Please help me. Thanks!

Sounds like you really need to do the 30 Days to Success training.

Then your questions would be answered about the blog. (no it is not the same as your website) you would set it up on the blogger first and then move it to publish on your site (if that is what you mean)...

As for the co-op please contact them.

Dear Patrician, Thanks for your reply. However, I AM Working on the 30 Days to Success Training, but like I said I am a real "NEWBIE" and it takes time to go thru 30 days of training. I am trying to follow all the instructions step-by-step and I guess I have not yet gotten to the day that will answer my question.

I thought this forum was here to ask questions and get answers and get help. I'm sorry I offended you by asking a question I'm supposed to find answered on my own.

Hi there, I have been through the "30 Days" twice and starting again - it really answers everything in detail. I see you have questions about your blog. Open the WebePanel under Host4Profit hosting and go to File Manager. Here you click "Create Directory, then "File" and name it "blog". Then follow Stone's (30 Day) advice as to how to bring your Blogger" over to your website.
Or just read the 30 Day "How to Start your Blog" section.
Hope this helps, from one Newbie to another!

Ray

P.S. Meant to tell you that your Host4Profit log in details and the PlugInProfit details are in the original "Welcome" emails, which I hope you save. It's also my first week, so just keep slogging, something will blossom!

Hi, Ray:

I pretty much mirror the comments posted by Prudence earlier. I bought everything suggested and had little success. I didn't start seeing positive results until after I joined the PIPS Power Group and I have experienced better results employing many of the recommended free marketing methods than I did with any of the paid methods (except the paid PPG membership, of course!)

Hi. Ugogram. Believe me I know it takes time to get through the 30 Days. I think it took me at least 90 or more days -

I am glad you came to the forum because to me it it is one of the most valuable resources we have and as I always say, I would never have survived my first year without this forum. Just knowing that there were people who would explain things.

I don't know why you think you offended me. I guess I must have offended you, although I didn't mean to.

... anyway, you will do fine with the combination of the 30 Days and the forum. Let us know any questions you have and as you can see everybody will try to help you.

Hi condor
You forgot to add Getresponse ($ 18/PM). However I like to discuss the sequence I have planned for my self.

Step1
. Join PIPS only with Host4profit and SFI (as it is free)
Step2. Customize & optimize site with keyword/phrases (of course after proper research)
Step3. Start building backlink with free systems (Blog/Article/others)
To do these 3 steps I required 3 months as I was a complete newbie, did not know basic HTML or free tools for SEO research. And I paid only $25/pm for my domain in those 3 months.
Step4. Join Empowerism, LCM & GDI after atleast 2 months from the day of starting backlink building.(no point give away monthly installments unless there are some, they say "organic Traffic" visiting my site)
Step5. Buy any service mentioned at PIPS 30 training or other services only with the cash generated by sales. Otherwise use only the available free services.

These are my planned sequence at the moment. I am at step 2 right now. What do you think of it? Am I missing something?
Like Condor, PPG service is too expensive to me. Though I feel that if I could afford it, the steps above would be much easier for me. May be I will join PPG soon breaking my budget!
Do not forget to give opinion on my steps and what I am missing.

Hello friends and neighbors!

After reading all the comments to my Post, there appears to be a very distinctive pattern emerging.

"The Bigger the List, the Bigger the Budget"!

You see, with a large subscriber and opt-in list, one can sell "Ice to Eskimo's".
Our revered 'Guru's' keep telling us how they do those "Massive Launches", how they get "Huge JV Associations", yet never do they say, we have the "Ease of Tease, as we Please", and as my favorite Guru say, "Just hit the 'Send' button, to make a fortune!

"The Money is in the List Stupid".

I respect the Experts, for having built a massive List to sell, (Virtually-Anything LLC) - my Company, but, what they don't tell you, as you shell out 'front-end' and 'back-end' purchases, is that they can succeed overnight, where the Newbies need 6 months to even break even, and 85% just give up - imagine if they didn't?

That's when we hate those offers like, "You have 45 mins 20 secs left", or "If you leave this page , this offer will never be offered again", or "Before leaving, hit OK to get a Special offer" or "This price will not be $47, but $97 or even %147".
Who are they kidding, the self-same offers are there 4 months later!

And again, don't you hate those people who show you mansions, sports cars, Bentleys and Bank accounts to prove that you can make it, only they make it - it's THE LIST STUPID!

Here's my question!

Is there anyone out there, from Shawn Casey, Tellman, Filsaime and the newest 'Wunderkinders" on the block, Marc and Hollis, who would actually share their List, in the way of a sincere JV promotion for us, the little people!

My suggestion is, Every "Guru", Every "Expert", should adopt a "Newbie, and prove to the Internet Community that nothing else matters, but THE LIST!

The List! The List! The List! The List! - the "Holy Grail" of Internet Marketing! Imagine if we lumped the top 30 "Experts" including our personal; Guru, Stone Evans' lists - holy mackerel, we must be talking 18 million or more subscribers minimum!

Everything else is what we like to call, BS!

Thanks for all your interest, but I feel that the Internet needs to be weaned away from the four dozen "Mega-Guru's" and use the latent wealth of the millions of scared, confused, over-loaded, info-swamped Newbies, to spread the Real Wealth, oh! yes, we have the money, we just don't trust the "Experts" and are awaiting the "Return of the Internet Messiah", God forgive me the comparison!

Imagine, if helping a Million Newbies, the already wealthy Experts, could receive "Income Streams" from their "Adoptive Newbies".
Just an uneducated thought!

Thanks to you all for being so understanding, keep at that "30 Day Bible" and hit all the eZines, articles, SEO's, back-links, social bookmarks and heavens know what.

I wonder, is there an "Internet Secret" that we aren't given access to! Maybe! Did I just cheat?

The Condor.

Ok, here are some key points to remember:

-You do NOT need to buy or join everything in the 30 Days to Success Plan! (Except for Host4Profit, we'll discuss this later)

-Take your time with the "30 Days"! As Pat said, it took her 90! Many before you have made the mistake of rushing through, thinking riches await only a month away...not so!

-If you can't afford it, don't buy it!

-To succeed, you need to make up in time what you lack in funds. For example, instead of buying traffic to your site ( a method that 95% will say doesn't work, I'm one of them), you need to employ other, more time consuming methods of getting natural traffic.

Everything else I have has already been said at least once, so I won't repeat it

The Condor.

Here is my (an) answer. The point here is the word 'joint' meaning a partnership. This connotes both parties contributing. A business exchange. Otherwise what you have is a charity or handout.

Here is the key - put something together that you will contribute as a selling point - a product, a service, or an eBook, for example - what you will put into the equation.

What the "guru" is contributing is access to his list that he may have spent years cultivating. This is not to say this is just a list of purchased anonymous names, but is actually comprised of people who have responded to one or more offers in the past.

I want to stress here that besides the email addresses, you are trading on the person's reputation. His very livlihood depends on that reputation. That list is his customers who trust and believe in him.

I can honestly say that over the past 5 years I have seen Stone joint venture several times by promoting various people's projects in the 30 Days to Success, even to his email list.

When people approach me about a JV with Stone, I know he loves them and that JVs are literally the only thing he has ever told me to make sure to forward to him - JV proposals.

I know that it works best if the person has his/her act together. The concept, the product/service, the promotion AND I always tell them to spell it out - exactly what he/she wants from Stone, and of course what is in it for Stone (percentage etc).

That is the way business works, we are all in it to make money and there is no business in the world where people give everything away for free.

Having said that I love the internet marketing approach to give things away for free in order to EARN the right to then advertise something else to them. I love the idea of 'permission based' advertising.

There is so much possibility and there is no reason why a newbie can't succeed. Particularly within the concept of 'multiple streams of income'.

True the more business experience one comes to the table with, or the more creativity and motivation, the quicker they will see results. True, the ones who really make it big come up with their own program, product or service. They work three times as hard as others to get where they are.

Well anyway that was all I had to say besides go and take a look at the Warrior Joint Venture and Special Offer forums to get an idea of how some people make a substantial income just from this forum...

It's like once Stone said something like 'find the leader you would like to be and be it'. Not copy, yet duplicate, not imitate, but emulate...

Just my two cents.
