Hi fellow PIPSters,

I have compiled a huge list of 171 social bookmarks sites on my blog today and for those of you who are interested in exploiting the massive amount of laser targeted traffic you can from social bookmarking, then you should check the list out.

Could somebody please tell me how to use this social bookmarking sites? I have been wanting to use them, but don't really understand how they work. I just know that they can build links; that's all. Also, those little buttons.....what are they for? How and when are they used? Do we have to install them on our sites?

newbie here would like to share:

Step#1

Choose a social bookmarking site and register. Choose a more popular site, especially if your are participating in an affiliate marketing program. Some popular sites are Stumble Upon, Del.icio.us, Digg, and Riddit.

Step 2

Get familiar with the bookmarking site. Make sure there are other users who will be interested in your website. All social bookmarking sites have different types of users. Be sure to find a site that works with your niche.
#
Step 3

Recognize the articles, websites, and blogs that are bookmarked the most, with the highest rankings. This will give you an idea of what people are looking at the most. This is important, especially if you are promoting an affiliate marketing program.

That's clear. What about those little buttons though? Are those little buttons appear when we bookmark an article? Is that how it works? You know which buttons I am talking about right?

Juanita - if you mean the buttons in the forum - After you join the social sites, go to your profile in the forum and put in your ID/usernames for the social sites. Then the buttons will appear on your posts.

Look at mine where you see under my picture and stats 'social networking'. You can see I only have Twitter and YouTube.
