If you make good contents. Each time you make your post, the spider's gonna crawl on it.

Ok here is what you do and it works within minutes of application: Get yourself a Google Webmaster Tools account and get your site verified Get a sitemap loaded into your website (google "sitemap generator" there a bunch of free ones available. When you are creating your sitemap set it for weekly updates for the spiders to come back once a week. Then submit that sitemap to Google, you should be able to come back within an hour and see that your sitemap was accepted and Google will index your site within an hour or two. Now, if you think that the spider isn't coming to your site, its because something happened with the sitemap and generated an error, just make a new one and resubmit. |

Ok, here are the links that I promised, sorry it took so long to get these up. This one is used to get backlinks as well as to get your site indexed rather quickly, I used it on a forum I created and I was indexed within a couple hours. Your best bet to use this is to use the Opera web browser (it just works better with it in my opionion). Make sure you set the setting to 25 pop-ups at a time, with the auto option selected. Also select all in the sites option box. You will be able to leave this alone and let it run but it will get hung up if you do for any period of time. Sometimes a dialog box will open in one of the windows. Just close it and it will continue for you. VerifiedFile.com - SEO Ranking Services - Quick Google Index You can use this second site to ping your site, works pretty much the same way as above. In the box put your site in with a keyword in this format http://www.yourdomain.com|keyword I found that if you use the same site and a different keyword it fails so just do one keyword for your site at a time. However, say you are using SENuke and you create a bunch of blogs etc, you can copy/paste those sites into this and it will run through each one of them automatically with little errors. http://1iphone4u.co.cc/backlinks.php Hope you find this helpful. Extra, Extra Google Now Gives you feedback. By Creating a Google Sitemap using free online tools you can get Google to crawl your site within 24 Hours. As an Added bonus after Google Crawls your site they give you feedback about any problems they encountered. To take advantage of this amazing service from yahoo just follow these 4 simple steps. Step 1 Get a Google Site Map Account In order to create a Google Sitemap account just cut and paste the below URL in your browser and follow the simple directions [https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login]) Step 2 Create Your Site map You can create your Sitemap either as an XML file or a TXT file. XML is the PPreferred method since you can give Google more information about your Web Site. You do not need to know XML to create a Google Sitemap. Not with this free web based tool. Simply go to the below web site type in your domain and it will automatically spider your site and create a Google Site Map for you. Google Sitemap & Yahoo Sitemap Generator If You prefer to use a text file simply following the below direction taken directly from the Google Help File ([https://www.google.com/webmasters/si...en/other.html]) Google accepts simple text files that list URLs. As the text files contain only a list of URLs, Google prefers that you use the Sitemap protocol so you can provide additional information about your URLs. The text file must follow these guidelines: The text file must have one URL per line. The URLs cannot contain embedded new lines. You must fully specify URLs as Google attempts to crawl them exactly as provided. Each text file can contain a maximum of 50,000 URLs. If you site includes more than 50,000 URLs, you can separate the list into multiple text files and submit each one separately. The text file must use UTF-8 encoding. You can specify this when you save the file (for instance, in Notepad, this is listed in the Encoding menu of the Save As dialog box). The text file should contain no information other than the list of URLs. The text file should contain no header or footer information. You can name the text file anything you wish. Google recommends giving the file a .text extension to identify it as a text file (for instance, sitemap.txt). You should upload the text file to the highest-level directory you want search engines to crawl and make sure that you don't list URLs in the text file that are located in a higher-level directory. Step 3 Upload your Site Map File To Your Web Page Once you have created an XML or TXT Sitemap using the instructions in Step 2 you would just upload it to your web page either by FTP or by using the Cpanel from your Web Host. Step 4 Tell Google The last step in this process is to tell Google about your Sitemap. You simply Log In to your Google site map account and add the URL of you Site Map. Be sure and check back a few hours later to make sure it uploaded correctly. [https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login] Now be sure and repeat the above 4 Steps whenever you change your website Bonus Step 5 After Google has read your Sitemap and crawled your site (usually 12-24 Hours) you will see a verify link next to your Sitemap name. Click the link and Google will instruct you to create a blank file and place it on your Web Page, Once you have done that Google will tell you any problems it encountered crawling your Page |

Getting Google crawled your site is one thing but unfortunately this necessarily doesn't mean that they going to index it. I have tried all the tricks I know and have red about and one of my sites is still not indexed. So I'm just trying to be patient and move on. |

Google loves to crawl sites having unique contents and decent backlinks. Also use the Webmaster tools from Google, you'll learn a lot from it.

I've posted here a few times with positive feedback about the content and tips in this thread, most do work. Question for the experts... How do Google and Yahoo determine the quality of backlinks? Do they actually compare the relevance of the content containing the backlink with the content at the target site? Or are all backlinks treated the same? Thanks. Hi Folks, I cannot believe I have not seen this site before, and this is definatily the place to learn and help. I always believe in helping first and then receiving, BUT, can anyone answer (a) how / where can I get a blogging site like this with a fantastic interface without a silly interface, whih this is not - this is brilliant. (b) Market launch for www.seit.ie is on Wednesday, and I need to have each of the member pages listed very high though www.seit.ie prior to market launch. Is there a solid package to rank the site high? I would apprecaite all the feedback. Ireland is in a recession and I beleive that for clients that are coming onboard that I can help them. Thank you in advance Paul www.seit.ie psomers@seit.ie |

does submitting one's site to social bookmarking sites mean that one has to just submit their website URL, or does it mean having to make regular posts, with a sig/url at the end each time?

Ian, to answer your question, submitting to a social bookmarking site just requires you to sumbit your url, some bookmarking websites require a short description.

Great Topic... Many Awesome Ways to Get the Bots to Crawl Your Sites. When I make a New site... I Always check the Meta Tags to Crawl Every 7 Days. You wouldn't believe how many sites I run across that have their setting on No Crawl.... No Index. Also, as soon as I get a site up... I write 10 Articles with 10 different keywords in that site and submit to places like Buzzle or Scribd. Any really high ranked article directory site. Once they get approved and publicized, I then submit the articles to blogger blogs and wordpress blogs. You should be able to get your site crawled fast with just a few hours of strategy. |

Direct way is to submit website to search engines. But faster indirect way is to submit the story with a link to your website to several high page rank social websites such us DIGG or PROPELLER. In my case after social bookmarking my new website got crawled after 10 days and appeared in results. Kind Regards DAN |

Other things you can do is to get good inbound links and prepare a sitemap... then submit the sitemaps to google and other directories. XML sitemaps also help to get crawlers to index your website... to get crawler to keep coming back, keep updating the content of the site... perhaps add an rss feed.

Having a sitemap is very important to getting your site not only crawled, but also indexed. Changing content is a key element to having the spiders return to your site. Blogs and forums are the best types of sites when it comes to changing content. You can also add rss feeds to your site. Jeff |

Submit your site to major social bookmarking sites, and write a few articles about your site's niche and back link your keywords to your site url.

Fast Indexing 1-7 days depending how aggressive you want to be. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR SITE DIRECTLY TO GOOGLE let them find you naturally will be better for you in long run. How to help google find you faster 1st Focus on task no sidetracking make a list of to do before u start and do it Google searches major directories and major social sites daily. Major social sites Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Digg, Stumbleupon etc.. Signup for accounts at these sites and share your url in as many places as possible. Send your friends an email telling them about your new site and ask they share it on any social sites they use. Goto Alexa.com and enter your url after this get your site verified they have 3 ways to do this Goto Quantcast.com enter your url and after which get quantified they have instructions for this Make sure you have a sitemap and robots txt files in your websites files check for these in your file manager of your hosting account Submit your site url to 20 or more directories per day some require email verification DMOZ is single most important directory online but is hard to get listed all search engines get information from dmoz. You can pay 300 bux to get listed in Yahoo Directory but 300bux is a lot of cash. a alternative is dmeg(much cheaper than yahoo) directory which is paid alternative to dmoz. Find 2 or 3 press release sites many free ones available and write a press release for your site when the press release goes live go back to all the social media sites and share the url of press releases Do a google search for your keywords and add forum from results select 4 or 5 and register in your proifile edit the SIGNATURE to include your url. now view the threads and comment on as many as you can your signature will be a link note some forums allow html code and some use bbc code make sure you edit signature with correct link code. Goto VerifiedFile.com - SEO Ranking Services - Quick Google Index and enter your url Write an article and a blog related to your sites content many free article and blog sites. Put your link at bottom of article and blog. submit blog page to pingomatic.com and take the url of article page and go back to all those wonderful social media sites again and share the article and blog pages url. Doing all these things should help you get indexed quickly. Some of steps above should be done daily like commenting on forums with a signature link. Note if your interested i have an extensive list of 90 sites some create backlinks for you high pr and all are google spider magnets will get your site indexed sometimes within a few hours sometimes a day or two. I cannot give them away(some people sell these type of links) but for a small fee i may give them to you. PM me or send me an email dragonlildragon@gmail.com if interested. HI there, my name is Tonja and I am the newbie here. I am glad I found this forum, seems like a great place to visit and learn info on how to get your website, in my case, a blog site "googled." I have been running a blog from blogger.com and noticed that after two months now, NO indexing. I found the warrior forum and found out from one of the folks here that I needed to go to google webmasters and "Verify" my site. I have now done this. But is there something I can add to the HTML of my blog site to get the "spiders" to start crawling it? I have been reading and reading and reading here and on Google webmaster... and I am about to go cross-eyed, literally! Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Is there a certain way I need to put this into the HTML on my blog? If anyone here can help, I would really appreciate it. I would just like to know why it is that almost every time I come here this thread has a new post in it? The original question was answered within the first couple replies almost a year ago, but we now have around 150 replies to it and new ones being added all the time. Not to mention a good portion of them are one post drive-by spammers and plenty more are completely off-topic. Can't we just let this thread go? Oh and yes I know I contributed to the problem by posting this but I HAD to say something! |

Hi Vervel, I just tried to do the Sitemap.xml, I saved the file, but when I went to upload it to the HTML of my blog, I got more error messages. Am I supposed to submit the Sitemap.XML code to the HTML of my blog? I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I am doing something wrong. Please help. I carefully read and followed all instructions on Google webmaster.com regarding Sitemap. Thanks everyone! |

I just recalled one very good reason I stop visiting forums a few years ago and was just now rudely reminded when I came back tonight. Some folks, after becoming attached to a certain forum and becoming that forum "warrior" seem to think in time they own and run it and that only their opinion matters. I have read the very first posts and many more after that. So I will not bother to ask any more questions, I will just start reading again! And hello to you Trent. |

Hi Handyman, The day before yesterday I researched as you suggested, posting a question on Yahoo answers and then of course answering the question and posting my website, under another account, but after reading Yahoo's TOS and the answers submitted to several Yahoo questions, I see NO one submitting their website. I'm afraid to do this, as Yahoo says they will cancel your account. I do tweet, and I'll research Pingler. Thank you. Tonja |

Julien: no you're not getting me right I'm afraid: you've got nothing, really nothing, to worry about if you look at the speed of your site crawl. Google will only start crawling faster (in this case meaning: more regularly) if you get more links, but it won't give you any influence on it. Gerben: Good stuff and linkbuilding takes time, yes |
