Moving from Get Response to Aweber mainly because I could never get any Response from them. My question is how do I get Stone's 400 email across to Aweber or have I lost them Rosalie |

#1 You need to replace the form code in your home page source code (for the opt-in form) #2 You need to copy and paste all the messages one by one from Getresponse to AWeber and replace all of the encoded predefined values with AWebers (or hard code the URLs) - #3 I find it really difficult to believe they don't respond since they have a toll free phone number, email support and a helpdesk. I send requests the same as anyone else and I always get a response. It could be your email account is blocking your mail with their spam filters. Add the address to your address book and/or whitelist on your email account and try again every 72 hours until you get a response. 877-362-4547 - pro accounts gr-support(at)cs.implix.com Login to your account and go to the support/helpdesk |

I've never had a problem with GetResponse, and they are cheaper than Aweber. I recommend you do what Pat suggested because I'm sure there is a valid reason why you're not receiving their replies, other than them just not sending one. Besides, it would be a huge hassle to copy and paste every single follow-up letter, change URL's and replace the form code on every page of your site. That would be such a headache and not good use of your time. |

I thought I would give Aweber a try so I signed up about a month ago. Personally I don't care for them. (But, many marketers use Aweber exclusively). I am going to sign up for Getresponse again once I get home. I find GR easier to use. In the past I always had good luck with GR support. Can't imagine them not answering unless, as Pat said, there is an email problem. |

As far as the Support Ticket system at GR, I haven't received any responses since the upgrade took place. Not sure if this is them, or me. Anyway, I just use the other methods of getting support through my account, and they work just fine. Honestly, I think switching to Aweber sounds like more trouble than it's worth! Aaron |

Try mailchimp.com You don't have to reconfirm the addresses when you import them as you do with aweber plus you can have pay-per-email option rather than monthly subscription. Their user interface and stats are also very good. You also get 100 emails for free when you sign up. |

Hello, You're receiving this email because someone on the MailChimp review team noticed content in your campaign(s) that we'd classify as "risky" or "inappropriate." We make no judgements here. We simply have to keep our servers from getting blacklisted. Certain types of content are just more prone to getting reported for abuse than others. Unfortunately, your content falls under that "risky" category. To maintain the deliverability of our system for thousands of customers, we have to suspend your account. No offense. We just can't afford the risk. For details about our terms of use, read: Anti-Spam Policy and Terms of Use | MailChimp.com Regards, The MailChimp Abuse Desk

Mail Chimp has a few rules. I'll pass on them but I do enjoy their sense of "PayBack".

Have you tried the Live Chat? Just login to your account, click on Support > Start Live Chat. In my opinion that's the easiest way to get in touch with them and you will usually get a response for your problem right away, if needed they will open a ticket and get back to you soon. I just had problems to contact them when they moved over to the new GR, but apart of that I always had my questions answered and their support service is very good. |

Hi Everyone thanks for your imput to my question. When I said get no Response I was not the getting an helpful response 1) Could not sign into my account when I was due for renewal no answer at all after several requests.(I needed to change my bank account details) When I did get into my account I pressed a wrong button whilst trying to locate the infomation that I needed and found that I had upgraded not what I was trying to do. The final straw was when they did reply to an email from me asking them if I could make my account monthly instead of yearly and asked why had I not recieved a renewal notice I was told, once you join yearly you cannot change to monthly, nor do they send out renewal notices thats why they kept trying to take money out of an account that I no longer use. Niether myself or the bank were happy with them as they applied several times for the money even though I had emailed several times explaining the situation. I know Aweber costs a bit more but if I'm paying money out on a yearly basis, I believe they should let you know it is due so that you do not go over drawn on your account as this costs you extra money. Host4profit let me know so why not Get Response Its done now on a monthly basis and I find the Aweber site easy to use and it loads a lot quicker than Get Response and I look forward to working with them Thanks Pat for the info hope to get that sorted soon Rosalie |

Sorry you had this experience Rosalie - I have to admit since July 4 when they installed their new version of software, it has been chaos. I do admit that the response time was way more than I ever experienced in 5 years because there were several problems that ensued which really overloaded them with requests for support. I also admit I wouldn't be happy about the credit card/renewal issue either... I hope you like AWeber and don't find the transition too difficult. Pat |
