Pages, Blogging and ignorance. Help
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

G'day, Aussie here,
No reflection on my fellow aussies but I'm horribly confused over many things. The more I seem to learn the more I realise how damn ignorant I really am.
Everbody talks about Lead, Capture, opt-in, advertising, squeeze pages;
Could someone please explain what these pages are, the sequence in website? Are these pages automatically added? Links to these pages [when installed] automaically appear on 1st page or do they need to be added somehow?
How does one brand books? Does this make a seperate page? [For example the Host4profit offer available at moment, the instructions are probably good for those what know, this newbie does not understand]
I gather the blogs are on a total seperate website. Is this correct?
As you can see I am way back in the dark ages and know absolutely nothing, step by step instrctions are definately required.
Can anyone please help?

Welcome to the wonderful world of PIPS and Affiliate Marketing.

To begin with, YOU AREN'T IGNORANT - Your NEW.

Not one marketer has ever started out knowing everything from day one.

Sad to say, there is an AWFUL LOT to learn at the beginning, however, I must say, if you had to start anywhere online, you started at the perfect spot. Plug In Profit Site!

It's a great system to start with, and the Warrior Forum (both inside and outside the PIPS forum section) is the place to find your answers.

I could sit here and write a book in response to your questions, but, the answers you seek are all here...waiting for you to search them out.

The best thing to do is do a keyword search for the topic that is on your mind. Just click on the "Search" button at the top of the page, type in what you want to find out about, and then sit back with a cold or hot drink and READ.

Sent PM's to those that have hit on the topics of interest. Ask for more details if possible.

You will find that virtually every Warrior is willing to help you if you seek them out in a field they have expertise in.

Now... go SEARCH, learn and then EARN.

Hello Aussie!

You might also want to start working with the 30DaysToSuccessGuide that you got as a bonus with PIPS if you haven't done so already. It will give you a good idea of what's what and how you can start to promote your new site.

Goodluck,
Jim B.

Hi jyeomans,

You are welcome to PIPS and the Warrior forum

I am in agreement with Allen on the procedure you have to adopt. The first thing is to begin LEARNING by reading. Allen suggests "search" on the warrior forum and I go further to advise you also read the 30-days guide by Stone thoroughly and if possible twice without any investment or subscriptions for now with the exception of your hosting and later on your autoresponder.

From your post, I do not think you have done much reading up yet and at the beginning and in fact all along though with more ease later on, it is a pity that there is no alternative to reading up which will form the basis for taking ACTION. Don't feel overwhelmed though as most of us have also gone through the stage you are in with similar experiences. You just have to persevere to succeed.

As you now read up , you can always come to this forum to clear up any grey areas and not the other way round. Most warriors are always pleased to be of assistance.

As you begin to acquire knowledge, all puzzles will begin to fall in place.

Don't forget that following LEARNING, you later have to begin to take consistent ACTION to realise your objectives as LEARNING without ACTION is naught.

Wishing you well as you begin your march to success

Hi Aussie, I am also rather new to the PIPS program. Follow the advice that Allen, Jim and Dele have given. When I joined I didn't really get involved with this forum until I had made some bad choices. Study and learn from others that have been here a while. You will find that the people on this forum are the best and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Good luck.

You are in a better position right now than many PIPs members who have been at it for a long time. Why you might ask, because you are open and eager to learn. It is right now when you can pave a way to success. Take the suggestions Allen, Jim B, and Dele gave you and start reading.

All of your questions can be answered in this forum or in the 30-day training. As for your Blog question, a blog can either be a part of your website or on a seperate site. It is best to have one attached to your site. Everytime you make a blog post it will be new content added to your site and Google loves fresh content. Search for Wordpress and blogging in this forum for some great information.

Hello Aussie!
We're the same boat here. I've to come back and forth to read 30 days training. To a newbie like me, too much to learn and also confuse. Don't know what to do and what to spend to make it works when not having much money. Til now I got 1 affiliate in SFI and 1 subcriber in Getresponse. I checked the stats, not many visits to my site. Probably I'm doing something not right. I think we need to keep reading 30 days training and post queston here to get help.
Sincerely,
KT52

Hey John...

Glad you found this forum also. Now you have the best of both worlds, the Warrior Forum and PPG Forum. Remember to come back over to PPG and get your answers fine tuned and even bounce your questions against some of the training material we have.

Remember, I said you can PM me anytime

Your friend...Leon

Hi John,
Welcome to PIPS and to the forum.
Being new can be overwhelming and you are on the right track asking questions, this is the way to learn.

Hi John

I think we've all felt the same way as you are right now! It's very overwhelming at the start.

As someone above has already said, do the 30 day training, and take things step by step. Don't be afraid to ask questions, even if they sound daft. You will soon learn the language and be answering questions on this forum before you know it!

Thank you to everbody for your advice. It is great to know you can ask and it will answered.
Contrary to how it sounded I have reads the 30 day manual about 3 times and in fact printed most of it out which I still study.
I guess my problem really is the nuts and bolts application. I know what I'm trying to achieve and the theory to do it [get traffic, get auturesponse, get pushbutton leads, join affiliates, blog, articles etc etc]
BUT, for an example, to change my webpage is a drama. I have printed out and read, reread Suzanne's blueprint. Can't get it to work as I don't really understand what I'm looking at.
Any how team, I will reread everything once again and continue to experiment, maybe something will click.
All the best and many thanks, there will be heaps more posts! Hopefully a bit more specific. Allen, many thanks

Hi Jihn,

A belated welcome to the forum and PIPS. I hope things are slowly making more sense to you.

It is a lot to take in when you are starting from scratch, but stick with it and you will see the results you want over time.
