Hi There,
I have just joined the PIPS system and spend the last few days setting up the site and the blogs etc. I have no issue with setup of this and find it quite easy as this is the nature of my work. However after setting this all up and spending those dollars on the programs suggested I am now concerned that nothing will happen after reading through the various threads and seeing most people stating they are making peanuts from PIPS! Can anyone offer any advice on this as to whether it really will pull in large profits to cover the work at home aspect? I just dont want to work hard at something and find out I am just making someone else rich while I sink! So far I have setup the base site with all the usual templates etc, I have added the sitemap and placed it into google's index to be googlebotted. I am now about to start the lengthy process of backlinking. Please can someone offer me some good advice? Should I cancel this now? Let me know Simon |

Hello, Simon:
Welcome to the Warrior/PIPS Support Forum. We always enjoy having new members, especially members who get active in the topic threads, either asking questions or offering insight and experience. In my opinion, it is possible to make big money with the Plug-In Profite Site program, but it is not easy. It takes time to learn the Internet Marketing process; to apply what you learn; to fine-tune what you apply; and (especially) to develop the amount of traffic you need to make it work profitably. Your rate of success will depend on your present level of experience and skill; the speed with which you can develop a large mailing list; and your ability to attract large volumes of daily unique visitors. In my observation, it is the PIPS members who have a combination of tons of traffic, a large list and a significant number of quality backlinks who succeed and make good money with PIPS. Also in my observation (as you have already noticed in this forum), for many of us, it is a long, slow process. That doesn't mean it won't work. It just means you have to be dedicated, focused and determined. So, the bottom line is it is up to you. If you focus on your backlink strategy and work at employing free and low-cost methods of marketing, you will make progress towards profitability and your income goals. And fellow PIPS members are here to encourage you and answer questions to the best of our ability! All the best of success to you. GT

I think we all fear the same thing, everyone takes risk. Some work well, but you have to know what your doing or you end up promoting a site and someone else reeks the benefits

Be sure to focus on completing the 30 Days to Success training to understand how the program works and to find numerous ways to promote your site.

Hi, you can make money with PIPs if you are constant in your efforts. If you bounce from program to program buying all the new "Guru" junk you'll find in your email it will be hard to make any money.
Two things to concentrate on. 1. Traffic to your site and offers. You wont sell anything if no one sees it. So, Social Netwroking, Article marketing, Traffic exchanges an what ever else you can find to get your site in the public eye is a priority. 2. Build your list. Use the same methods as above but use links to your lead capture pages. If you dont have capture pages you can use my examples in my sig below. They work, give stuff away, stuff of value, in exchange for name and email. If you can do those two things well you are on your way. If you can learn to do just one thing very well you will have it made also. See this Warrior thread and learn from it (kind of long but worth it), 6 Months Later: $300 Daily w/Adsense (Lessons Learned) Stay the course and stay on track and don't listen to the naysayers. Simon,
Success is Setting the Right Goals! Pick one thing, set your goals and take consistent action. That is all you have to do. And stick with it for a very long time. I heared that internet marketing is at least a 5 year gameplan. So there you go...

Hi Simon,
I just started with PIPS about the same time you did (just joined the forum today). I appreciate your question and I have the same concerns. My next step is get backlinks too. I was stuck for a minute - thinking "another membership$". I had to change my thinking. I had to realize to I am only 11 days into the process and this is a crucial step, and that I am landing the foundation for building a successful online business. (one of my strongest desires). It helps me to look at this time as one of investing (in self and future) and learning. It also helps me to see the support that is availiable - even now, just from reading the replies to your post. I plan to stick around for awhile, maybe we can help each other. You have already helped me with your question. Thanks for posting it! Hang in there! |

when I enter "www.rite-for-u.com" with the quotes in Google Seaarch, there are 18,900 links shown, so Google IS seeing you. Google does not display the number of backlinks in these reports. They will appear in your Google webmaster account if you have created one. Keep up the good work, you are obviously working hard to get those backlinks. Leon |

Also: try to be a little bit different than others... add something of you yourself to your site/blog. Help others as much as you can - and you'll feel the difference.

If Money is the Issue, Just signup for the free programs, then when you start getting signups, watch what people are actually signing up for, then upgrade if you want to. Like Ewin Chia Says Some of the Best Forms of Advertising are Free. This way starting out you would only have your Monthly Hosting Fee. Once I figured this stuff out I rebuilt my website from the ground up and am still working on it, almost half way done but in profit.

Yea, I've joined some of the sub-programs and am thinking about pulling the trigger on PIPS but have the same concerns... basically just tired of spending $$$ and seeing no results. There are some motivating posts in this thread which is a good sign. BTW, how do I say "thanks" for useful posts? Thanks!

That's what is great about the internet, there are a lot of options for "Everything" The overhead for everything on my site is just under $30.00 I'm Almost half way done and it is now making money, I could have done the same thing a lot sooner If I would have known how to earlier. I found great mentors and it made all the difference.

I just joined too. Completed all 30 days course and do most of what it advise except that I can't afford co-opt membership. Started to worry too cause the monthly fees will be due again soon and I am not getting any member or subscriber on my autoresponder. Should it redesign my PIPS to make it unique?

You don't have to completely redesign your web site. When you visit this forum and look at other sites from here you see a lot of them look basically the same but that's not a problem. There are millions of people looking for a work at home business or job and it is unlikely they will see a bunch of identical sites. So the appearance will be unique to most visitors.
The content, articles, are another story. The search engines will see it as duplicated and will pretty much ignore your site. Don't worry too much about the appearance or the color (red is actually one of the best colors to have) because it doesn't matter. But do start rewriting the articles and adding your own as quickly as you can so your content is unique to your site. Good unique content is what brings people back over and over again. Hi Simon,
Congratulations on starting your new PIPS business and welcome to the forum, this is a great place to come and ask questions. Lots of members here have already given great advice and I can only agree with them on the general points of the work required and the main methods. I particularly agree with Stephen because there is nothing wrong with the Generic PIPS site as the Internet is still growing. In the present financial climate there are plenty of people looking for extra income and if your site is the first PIPS site that they have ever seen then great. What gets them to that site in the first place is the content. If you set up your site and then just concentrate on getting traffic then you will largely be wasting your time. It’s a combination of building traffic while changing the content of your site. Google looks for anything new, even if that means changing the banners now and then but especially the articles and reviews or anything you can do to make your site different. The combination of driving traffic to a site that is constantly changing the content will be picked up by the search engines and then you will start to get results but it takes time. to your success, Mal. |

If you are trying to save Money and not spend anymore than you need too, My Site is a great Example, less than $50.00 Per Month overhead and it now makes more than that. $7.95 for Hosting a little paid advertising, blogging, Articles, and backlinks it doesn't have to cost much to make money.

Hi Fazzasx,
I too had just completed the 30 day course and had tried to complete each day with focus and commitment. Sure everybody has their doubts along the way as that is a normal human trait. But you take the good with the bad and weigh in all the positive energy and totally disregard the negatives. Even in one small task, do it with 100% quality commitment and it will bring a result for that effort. Just keep plugging away, as we all learn as we move forward day by day. In the process you are also testing the efforts you put in and use what works. Harness the knowledge and guidance of those who have gone before you and have had good results and you too will travel that path. Success eventually will come to those who endeavor. Best of luck to you, sw |
