Hi Stone,

I've got a few questions but I can't seem to find them right now. But here's one that I had previously: The Warrior Forum
Any idea when will this be fixed?

Hi Stone,

Oops, the link came out wrong. I meant for you to click and read on it. It's about the pluginthanks.html viewing problem in different browsers.

Hi Stone,

I noticed recently that you changed pluginthanks.html to be the same as pluginbonus.html

This means that people can receive their bonuses *before* they confirm their subscription to the newsletter. I think in some cases that this could have a negative impact on the number of signups as some people may not bother confirming as they already have their bonuses.

I just wondered what your thoughts were on this and if this is a temporary thankyou page or not? I quite liked the original one.

Also, on the same subject, the problem that Asher is referring to above is if you view the pluginthanks.html page or the pluginbonus.html page in Firefox, the font size gets increasingly bigger and bigger (like you are having some sort of eye test )

From having a quick look at the HTML, it looks like an easy fix - the <big> tags are not being closed. Drop me an email if you need further details on this.

Cheers,
Suzanne

Hi neonerai,

I've fixed the text on this page.

Actually, I took Suzanne's suggestion below yours and restored the original pluginthanks.html page and your pluginbonus.html page should now have proper text formatting.

Thanks,

Stone Evans

Hi Stone,

Awesome! They're fixed! I have another question now... For my Dotcomology page, what I did was instead of giving an open link, I used a capture page instead. So once they've signed up for the Dotcomology (same as signing up for the $147 value newsletter), they'll get the link to the Dotcomology page with the proper link. Would you recommend doing that?

How do you plan to help increase the capture rate for members or recommend to increase it?

Hi Stone,

I've just re-joined the forum after being away a couple of years doing other things, and it's good to see the forum looking good and being active. Good to be back amongst the Warriors too!

Have two questions for you:

1. Do you have any plans to add video / audio to the PIPS sales page, or to the PIP site itself?

2. I've noticed that the software for the MEGA Site is at the moment not available because being updated. When will it be ready?

Thanks,
Jim

Hi Stone!

Would it be possible to add the Pips Power Group to the 30 Days To Success guide so that are downline members can have access to this great resource?

It would be a great addition to the training that they receive in the 30 Days To Success and would provide members with a clear plan and focus, among other things.

I have improved my business thanks to the PPG and have received so much value and guidance and I would be extremely happy if that could be provided to members of my downline.

I think a lot of us would appreciate it!

Thank you:-)

Hi Asher,

I give my own branded copy of Dotcomology away freely and through a lead capture process. I can't really say which works better for making sales, but I do know the more hands you get your branded copy of Dotcomology into, the more PIPS sales you'll make.

As far as increasing the capture rate for subscribers, I always encourage PIPS members to test and experiment. Suzanne's lead capture page service is an example of creative thinking at work: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/leadcapture.php

That said, one important thing to keep in mind is that the PIPS pages as I've set them up are very effective at generating sales in the core PIPS affiliate programs if you promote them effectively and consistently.

Some people spend a lot of time trying to re-invent the wheel without really taking the wheel that is already working for a nice long drive.

Best regards,

Stone Evans

Hi Jim,

1. Do you have any plans to add video / audio to the PIPS sales page, or to the PIP site itself?

I don't have plans to do this right now. I tried adding a video to the PIPS sales page before and it seemed to reduce conversions. That's not to say I won't eventually find something that works, but I'm not putting any energy into it right now.

2. I've noticed that the software for the MEGA Site is at the moment not available because being updated. When will it be ready?

An updated MEGA software is not likely to be developed this year. Maybe in 2009. This is another thing that I'm not focusing on right now. My focus lately has been to create a better 30 Days to Success training guide and improved forum support.

Sincerely,

Stone Evans

Hi Josip,

That might happen at some point, but I think the best thing for you to do if you want member's of your downline to join PPG is to inform members of your downline about it.

Sincerely,

Stone Evans

Hi Mr. Stone,

Why did you deleted Simpleology?

Is it possible if you can add MP3's or any inspirational audios so that members can listen to it every now and then especially when the going gets tough?

I hope you do.

Cheers,

About the PIPS Site, I already have a domain name and hosting with namecheap, do I need to have hosting with host4profit?

Or namecheap is ok?

Thanks.

Hi Jose,

You can buy your domain anywhere, but if you want to use PIPS, Host4Profit is required.

It's one of the main income streams as described on this page: Host4Profit.com - We turn a necessity into a profit machine!

The plan for Plug-In Profit Site members is to make money from their hosting company, and my philosophy is that we should be using the produce we're promoting to others.

Best regards,

Stone Evans

Hi Stone,

I know its Sunday and you are probably resting like everyone else but I have a burning question for you.

Are you likely to add any other programs to the PIPS format? and if so would you consider a recommendation from one of your newbies?

What I am trying to say, is I am currently promoting an opportunity which has made me more $ than anything else I have joined...3 sign ups today alone ....I haven't joined SU or RF due to my traffic volume, but will in the near future as my confidence grows. Anyway, this particular opportunity is relatively new and growing fast...there is a market for it for sure and I feel if it was endorsed by you, we would all be a lot richer.

I won't say what it is here, but if you could answer in broad terms that would be great and if you would like more details, please pm me.

I'm off to bed now, so I'll bid you good night.

Cheers,

Graham

Good morning Stone,

Another one for you.

I just read another thread in the PIPS wf where someone just told me they were in my downline.

I had absolutely no idea of this fact and as a result was wondering if there is any way you could set up some sort of notification to us, when a new member joins.

The benefits of this would be at the very least 2 fold, in that firstly, the newbie would not be on their own and left to their own devices and would be able to seek guidance from their mentor.

Secondly, notification to anyone of a sale of any sort, is encouraging.

I realize you have been doing this quite some time now and you may already have considered this, but it would be nice to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Cheers,
Graham

Graham, your dowwnline is in the programs you signed up for. If someone signed up under you they will send a notification. Go to your programs and check your lineage/downline etc for any signups. That is where they will be if you haven't received an email.

Pat will also notify you (Ithink)but this person may not be under you as they stated "some where".

I've never failed to get a notification of a new signup.

Hi Stone,

It's really nice to have you with us despite your apparently busy schedule.
I have always been an advocate for this to happen at least on an occasional basis.

I have observed over time that the average time period when the PIPS business of most members start picking up or in fact when they start making any sales ranges from 4 months to 2 years with most skewing towards the second half of the time period. Therefore, it has always been that it is the persistent that end up surviving.

My question is whether this is as expected or delayed probably as a result of members not quite doing the right things quite early enough or some techniques taught needing some tweaking to be more productive.

I know quite well that most newbies on the internet expect a "get rich quick scheme" which is not realistic but I ask also because one of the follow up messages in our Getresponse autoresponder says sales will start to be made almost within days or weeks with the PIPS system. Or is this insertion just for marketing purposes?

If you also relate it to your teething time, was sales also this delayed or is the competition just getting increased?

Another quick chip in.

You are no doubt one of the few successful internet marketers who have consistently been on the net throughout 2000's.

From your rich experience, what advertising techniques or combination of advertising techniques have worked most consistently for you, throughout this time period.

Which technique/techniques is/are a recent successful addition to your arsenal, that is, more or less a technique/techniques that did not exist or that existed but you never used, in your early times.

Hi Stone and Pat.

This is a good thread!
Im in here sucking up the reading again after my little 'new forum' tatrum!

Anyway after reading above, Stone, do you think I would be better off removing my pips sale video (mega) in light of you revealing that the conversions are not as good???

I mean that would be a given really if correct but I was hoping for more information on this? Your thoughts are appreciated!

Thanks - Kym

Hi Mr Stone,

1. Actually I send a message to say hi to you in the old forum, but not sure you had seen or not. It was no reply. But after 5 Aug I can't log in.
2. I would like you to view my website and give your comments to improve it.
3. If I just concentrate on FORUM, will I able to make money with PIPS? I am looking for free as no budget at this moment.
4. If in future, I have any question can I just send you a message through this forum?
5. I would like to invite you to Malaysia.
6. Besides PIPS, is there any other online business that you doing?

Thanks and best regards

Hi Stone and Pat,

Is something going on with the PiP's video listed on our home page? When I went to my site and clicked on it, it starts to play then freeze and there's no sound. I didn't know that it wasn't working until I read this thread and decided to check it.

Is there something I need to do in order to fix it.

Thanks,
Martha

Hello Again Everyone,

One other thing about my PiP's Video, as I said when I click on it it starts to run and then freezes. When I click on the video I'm taken to a YouTube page with the video on it. The video doesn't work there either, but my question is who page is that? The YouTube page I mean.

Thanks,
Martha

What I am trying to say, is I am currently promoting an opportunity which has made me more $ than anything else I have joined...3 sign ups today alone ....I haven't joined SU or RF due to my traffic volume, but will in the near future as my confidence grows. Anyway, this particular opportunity is relatively new and growing fast...there is a market for it for sure and I feel if it was endorsed by you, we would all be a lot richer.

I won't say what it is here, but if you could answer in broad terms that would be great and if you would like more details, please pm me.

I'm off to bed now, so I'll bid you good night.

Hi Graham,

You are always free to PM me through the forum or submit a ticket to the PIPS help desk if you have something you want me to look at. That said, I am highly unlikely at this point to add to or change any core program in the PIPS system.

FOCUS is very important to me and a big reason why I am successful with the core 6 Plug-In Profit Site affiliate programs. I focus on them to the exclusion of anything else. For me, the grass is not greener on the other side.

I believe that if you are able to generate signups in anything, you can use the same energy and skills to generate signups in PIPS and this can produce 6 streams of income for you, insead of just 1.

Best regards,

Stone Evans

The benefits of this would be at the very least 2 fold, in that firstly, the newbie would not be on their own and left to their own devices and would be able to seek guidance from their mentor.

Secondly, notification to anyone of a sale of any sort, is encouraging.

I realize you have been doing this quite some time now and you may already have considered this, but it would be nice to hear your thoughts on the subject.

Hi Graham,

Each affiliate program that is part of PIPS notifies you of any signups you generate. If you are not receiving email notifications for your signups, consult each affiliate program directly to ensure you have a valid email address on file with them. If that doesn't change anything, check your spam folder to see if your notification emails are going there.

Whenever I refer a new members to PIPS, I receive email notifications from SFI, Success University, Empowerism, Host4Profit and sometimes Reverse Funnel System. I don't receive emails from Traffic Swarm when I refer a new member, but I can (and you can) check your Traffic Swarm downline inside your account.

Best regards,

Stone Evans

Hi Dele,

What I've seen with PIPS is that some members start making sales right out of the gate, some take time to figure things out, and some never make sales. In fact, I've seen some newbies who take my advice to contact their circle of influence, get involved in forums or start running ezine ads make sales in their first few days.

The difference in why these things happen are vast in my opinion. Some marketing strategies are more potent than others. Some people are more confident than others. Some people take more action than others. Some people choose "long-range" free marketing techniques such as article marketing, blogging, SEO, etc., while others focus on fast "quick-strike" marketing methods such as paid advertising, joint-ventures, etc.

If I were coming in from scratch at this point and wanting to make sales fast, I'd probably focus exclusivly on ezine advertising (http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/30da...cess/day8.html). With ezine advetising, you can get results fast if you mail out to the right ezines and this helps you build up some residual income. Once you're in profit and have some experience under you belt, it's easier to make other strategies like personal recommendations, writing articles, blogging, etc. work for you because you're coming from an internal position of strength.

Success in this business or any other endeavor really depends on how confident and committed you are on the inside.

The most important thing I've said here is that last line.

Sincerely,

Stone Evans

Hi Dele,

Nearly everything I do or have done is outlined in your 30 Days to Success guide. http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/30daystosuccess

The guide updates regularly as I update my own process. It doesn't change fundamentally though. There are basic things done over a period of years (build my list, participate in forums, start a blog, submit articles, etc.) that add up over time in terms of the results they produce for you.

As I've mentioned, I have articles out there on the Internet that I submitted 5+ years ago that still pull in traffic and sales for me today.

The reason there are multiple marketing activities outlined in the 30 Days to Success guide is because there are many different things I've done and that I do to produce the consistent results that I do.

Sincerely,

Stone Evans

Anyway after reading above, Stone, do you think I would be better off removing my pips sale video (mega) in light of you revealing that the conversions are not as good???

I mean that would be a given really if correct but I was hoping for more information on this? Your thoughts are appreciated!

Thanks - Kym
Hi Kym,

I can't really say. When I put the video on the PIPS sign up page, it appeared to have a negative impact on sales. I cannot say whether or not the same would be true in a pre-sales situation or splash page.

I would suggest testing it in different ways and try to measure results... It can probably be used effectively in some situations.

I do know with certainty that if you can get interested prospects to visit your Plug-In Profit Site sales page (ie. http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-0), it's proven to generate sign ups and sales in the core PIPS affiliate programs better than any other marketing system out there.

Best regards,

Stone Evans

Hi vorales,

Here's some answers for you:

1. Hi.

2. I don't offer comments to improve websites. I setup a site for you that I use myself to make my sales and have given you my suggestions on how to work with it in your 30 Days to Success guide.

3. You can review my advice and experience with forum marketing in your 30 Days to Success guide here: http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/30daystosuccess

5. Thank you.

6. PIPS is my main online service for now.

Stone Evans

Stone,

Just curious about using a condensed sales page. One to promote in traffic exchanges, etc...just to change it up a bit so the normal sales pages are not over-saturated.

I threw one together to give you an idea, but I have not used it yet.

Hi Kym,

I've forwarded this question to Darrin at PIP Site Help (PIP Site Help: Home).

He would need to create a customized thank you page for you in order to do this. I'll see if there is anything on my end that can be done to help him with this.

I suggest that you contact Darrin directly to follow-up about this.

Best regards,

Stone Evans

Hi Doug,

I can't recommend using anything like that. I've tried many versions over the years, including shorter ones and nothing has performed as well as the one that is currently up at: http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-0

The site above works as a whole system by building a relationship with prospects through the mini-course, telling my story, learning how all these affiliate programs work together as part of a system, getting them subscribed to your newsletter, getting bonuses, etc.

If you want to try something short for traffic exchanges, AdWords, etc., I'd suggest focusing your energy on making a custom squeeze page that re-directs to your Plug-In Profit Site sales page immediately after the subscription.

Ewen Chias uses this process effectively at: Passive Income Secrets Revealed!

Best regards,

Stone Evans

Hi Stone,

I've got a question here - might be dangerous for me to ask. You've made a couple of stickies for people to contribute and you providing a token sum for their contribution. Might I ask if these will eventually be used in one of your new promotions coming up for PIPS?

Unless you feel the power of Santa overflowing you, I find it hard to comprehend that you just *want* to hand out money XD

Hello Stone,

My video is working just fine now, but can you please tell me about the YouTube page that my visitors are taken to when clicking on the video from my site. Is the Youtube page yours or is it a page set up for us?

Thanks,
Martha

Hi Stone,

When I wiew my PIPS sales page today it's different from the sales page at which I joined PIPS (April 2008). F.ex. then there was Leisure Audio Books, now there is Reverse Funnel System.

Also there are different "bonuses" now, f.ex. $300 worth Pay-Per-Click ads, free membership at The Internet Warriors, the Web Army Knife and more. I don't think the Plug-In-Profit MEGA Site program was there either (I have learnt now from Suzanne Morrison how to make additional pages to my PIPS site, but it may go faster with this program?). Perhaps my memory is fooling me, but this is what I think anyway.

Is there a way that "old" PIPS'ers like me can have the "new" bonuses?

Reverse Funnel System Question

Hi Stone,

I am interested in the RFS and i need to understand how it works.after being accepted which program do you promote, is it RFS or GNR or both.Where would you suggest PIPS members advertise the program in order to get the best response. It all seems a bit confusing. What are your experiences with the program, where do you advertise, which advertising model works and what doesn't work.

Your help greatly appreciated,

Cheers for now,
