PIPS here is Plug In Profit Site - we are an internet marketing affiliate program helping people to start their own business.

We have absolutely no association with this other PIPS.

The PIPS you are referring to is a HYIP - (high yield investment program) - most of which are completely dangerous and illegal -

I think that one stood for Pure Investors Program System or something like that and they just happened to get busted - there are hundreds of other illegal Ponzi and Pyramid schemes, particularly among the HYIPs.
