Problems Verifying Site

Prior to doing Step 16 (or 17?) I had another website listed and verified. I deleted this site (I canceled the account last week) and added my PIPS site: www.ruthlharding-im.com

I went through the verification process, got my google string of 'garbage' created the file...then went back to H4P to verify the site again and I got an error message. The mesage said that the site couldn't be verified because it had a 404 error.

Just below that box, in red, it said to make sure the site existed before trying to verify. The red text had my site name and the google string attached, when I clicked it, it came back as ruth l'harding in the google search box and that the site didn't exist.

I have played around for a while and can't get past this.

any ideas what I should try next?
