Link Fm WPBlog to Home page

Hi
I have 2 categories of pages in my Home Page
1.Articles &
2.Blog

I am using Word Press for blogging. But I failed to insert link from my blog back to my Home Page and Article Page.

I don't know HTML very well but I can insert links from pages to pages. But the Word Press seems to be in PHP language, which I have no idea.

Any thing can be done so that I can link my Home page from my WP Blog?

Hello:

I do not (yet) use WordPress, although it is getting higher on my To Do list.

However, fellow PIPSter David Hurley passed this web link on to me a few days ago. Check it out; it seems to be quite a good overview of WordPress. I can't say myself, but perhaps it has the answer you are looking for.

Hi Amreen,

I will try to take you thru step-by-step.

1. go to wordpress control panel
2. click on appearance
3. click on widgets

Now you will see a list of available widgets.

4. find the widget Text and click and hold your mouse button and drag the widget over to your sidebar on the right hand side. Release your mouse button when you have placed it into the position you want your link to appear.

5. With your widget in place, click on the little drop down arrow/pointer and a box will open.

6. copy this code <a href="http://pluginprofitstream.com/" target="_blank"><strong>Plug In Profit Stream</strong></a>

7. Paste the code into the open box

8. click save and then view your blog to make sure the link is where you want it and it works.
