I actually haven't had a chance to make my way to the War Room yet. I keep saying I'm going to get in there, but I never do!

The setup looks similar to Article Dashboard, but I bet it works a lot better. How do you like it so far?

To be honest Alan, I haven't had chance to play yet. Only just managed to get it set up due to my day job again.

But it is an interesting concept to get back-links with.

Hi Graham,

I'll definitely be taking a look at it and will probably replace my Article Dashboard installation with it. I'm not a huge fan of AD, and ever since I lost my hundreds of articles, I haven't touched it since. The idea of getting backlinks with this new article directory seems good to me.

Thanks friend for your helpful mentality. Are you talking about article- exchange? If so ,I knew it before I became war room member.

Perhaps it has more disadvantages than article dashboard except back link issue. Even it doesn't use search engine friendly url to be indexed and much more limitation.

I saw your site (http://quick-start-to-internet-marketingdotcom) contains all the links of AE that is not at all expected

I had an article directory with a little over 2500 articles and it did almost no good for my site and visitors. If you can target the articles your site receives it might be worth it. If you can't and you receive articles in every category known it will hurt your site by filling up disc space with unrelated information. To have an authority site that is highly ranked by the search engines everything on it must be related and focused.

If you've noticed those who make the most money online don't have article directories or forums. Many use Blogging platforms and the sites are tightly focused, not much clutter.

Personally I wouldn't waste time on this stuff, especially if your time is limited, instead I would spend my time learning and applying traffic generating techniques that will draw buyers of your products to your site.

Hi Stephen,

Appreciate your input, and I agree. When I had my article directory I made sure all articles were related to my niche in some way. It did take a lot of time on my end to review and manage the directory, so in that sense it almost doesn't seem worth it. I wanted to keep a high quality directory which consumed a huge portion of my time. However, at the time my directory received quite a bit of traffic. I think it can be done, but as you said, if you don't have a lot of time to spare you'd be better off focusing on other tasks.
