Default Another Brilliant Google Move

In case you are not fortunate enough to subscribe to Warrior Paul Myer's free newsletter TalkBizNews, here is a link to his blog where he talks about this latest Google innovation to invade your privacy.

"Can This be Fixed?
==================

One of the challenging things about being able to spot
problems with new tools or trends is the tendency to ignore the
potential good that comes in the same package.

In the article from the last issue ("Google Steals the Web," at
Google steals the web TalkBiz News: The Blog), I pointed out
some very serious problems with Sidewiki, Google's new addition
to their toolbar."....

Read the whole blog post to see both sides of the coin (the knowledge of good and evil) lol...

I read that last week. It's really amazing, we have had to always try to keep our focus above the fold (bottom of computer screen) and now we have to worry about 1//3 of our page being taken over by the top Internet spammer, Google.

There is a WSO for a program to eliminate this,"Enraged Webmasters Demand SideWiki Comment Blocker!" but it's not even close to fair that we have to pay to get a program OFF our site that we didn't want there in the first place.

It would be great if we could just Boycott Google but that will never happen.

Yessir, Stephen. This is more bogus stuff from the one who holds us hostage and determines so many things with regard to our ease of success.

... and here I am the one who stuck up for them when it was discovered that their tool bar tracks where you go and what you do. (they have since added 'stealth' mode)

I said well they are not trying to harm us, they are just MARKETERS! They want to know what we like so they can show us items of interest. hmmmmph.

They are overstepping and once again I must say getting (gotten) too big for their britches.

Let's hope for some nice class-action lawsuits so they will have to give us the option to 'opt-out'...

That is just absolutely frightening... to say the least.

I can smell lawsuits brewing from all angles of the globe for this one.
