Hi all,

When I started my journey as a PIPSter in Jauary 2009 I read Stone's 30 days success guide to follow step by step instructions of Stone to promote your affiliate website. after 3 months I found my site ranking is 0 and I lost few Bucks from my credit card.

I studied the 30 days success guide for the second time and started writing articles and submitting to ezinearticles.com . Again wrote a Blog for my article and posted in my site. My Google Adword advertisement was also running live, where I was loosing at least 300 bucks per month. But I was not getting any traffic which can be convertible.

With a broken heart I was supposed to quit my affiliate marketing,
I found the secret strength of article writing .

Yes Article writing and posting to various directories has a strong potential to improve your site ranking on search engines. I stopped all online advertisements and focused on article writing and submitting to the directories and posting blogs to my affiliate sites.

I saw gradually the page rank of my site is increasing. Then I wanted my experience to share with all the newbies of PIPS, so that they can avoid unnecessary expenses of online expenses.

Article marketing is the important habit you have to follow as article marketing has the potential to get your site on the top of the search engine like Google. That means you will get traffic in free. Just spending a few bucks on articles written and posted on article directory, you will earn a good income from the PIPS site.

To properly article market you have to first find a set of "keywords" to use. When starting out you want to find "long tail keywords". These are phrases that have 3-6 words in them. Once you have found the right keywords you simply write articles with the phrase in the title and mixed in the article. It is actually very simple to do although it may sound complicated at first.

As far as how often, write articles using your keywords as often as you can. For the first 1-2 months I would write a minimum of one article a day. In fact I would shoot for 100 articles written and posted in the shortest time possible.

As far as posting you want to find the top Online Article directories to post them in. A minimum of 10 directories is a good start.

I would say start out with 1 article per week. It's hard to stay motivated and find topics on a daily basis, especially when your time is limited and you're doing other things. The last thing you want to do is get frustrated and stop doing it! It takes time to submit to the directories, even if you're using a service like SubmitYourArticle. Try not to overwhelm yourself!

I have had great results just by writing 1 original article per week, using SubmitYourArticle, and submitting to a few other directories. Great results meaning increased unique visitors per day, and more sales!!!!

the above sentence caught my attention. Could you define "strong resource box" and "juicy squeezepage"?

I do know what a resourcebox is and a squeezepage. I´m more interested in the definition of "strong" and "juicy". I know I could read the guidelines and recommendations at ezinearticles.com but why not get views from different angles?

Thanks to every members. I am back here after a long hospitalization
due to my sickness. I saw my thread is growing with members discussions.

Most of the software you can download and then work from your desktop is very time consuming. I would suggest joining a submission service such as SubmitYourArticle.com or UniqueArticleWizard.com but both cost a little. But that is completely dependent on how much time you have. If you're like me you don't have time so tools are a necessity.

I had to look but I found the link for the software I use. The updated version cost a little but it is just one click to submit to a few huindred directories. The standard version works very well and is free but a little more work,

I agree that is a high cost.

The differences that I know of that might warrant paying that kind of money are three:

1. Many times the sites included in those packages have low page rank so the links are really not as valued as those from higher ranking article directories.

2. In my experience with a few of these programs many of the sites don't work.

3. No matter how many promises that the program makes about 'automatic' you still will spend hours and hours and hours setting up all the accounts.

Granted this is only once, but then many of them require you to put in your username and password each time you submit.

I really like the sites that you submit it once and THEY submit it to other high ranking directories FOR YOU.

On the other hand, I don't appreciate when they edit your content and won't submit your article unless you change it. This MIGHT be something good, but on the other hand sometimes they nit pick and I don't agree with their revisions. It is my article and I think I should be able to control what I write within reason.
