My Main Page is on google PAGE 2 after 3 months

I am so excited to share this news to you all.

After THREE months of starting PIPS site, my MAIN PAGE alpha-workfromhome.com is on google page 2 under "work from home ideas" keywords. This is under google.com.sg search, Under google.com search, it is on page 3. The result might differ in some other parts of the world.

"work from home ideas"
Competition: about 70,000
Global monthly search volume (exact) about 7,000
Singapore Local monthly search volume (exact) about 700

The following efforts may contribute to what I have achieved it now.

1) Research for keyword-competition under 100,000, global monthly search volume above 2,000

2) Optimize ONLY that keyword for search engine.
- By then, I had customized my PIPS original site to self make unique site.

3) Articles marketing: I used to get articles and summit it to over 300 directories by using free articles submitter software. Some I did submit manually. But the article directories that give me actual backlinks are few. Most directories did not even review my articles as still in pending-may be forever. So I just narrow it down to directories that really benefit to my business.

Currently I only use the following article directories-most anchor text of my signature is “work from home ideas”
-www.ezinearticles.com PR 6
-www.goarticles.com PR 6
-www.articlebiz.com PR 6
-www.articlesbase.com PR 5
-www.earticlesonline.com PR 5
-www.amazines.com PR 2

4) I used to summit my site to over FREE 100 directories by using FREE Directory submitter software. I have found that I actually get backlinks from few directories and most are PR 0. So I have decided that I should not focus on summiting my site to directories..may be in the future once I can afford MONEY.

5) I update my blog regularly by adding some new unique contents. On the other hand, I add new web pages regularly as sub-page of my main web page.

6) Contributing to Warrior Forum regularly since the sig. can be indexed by Google fast.

7) Angela Edwards & Paul Johnson's Backlink Package
-this backlink package may Mainly contributes to what I have achieved it now. It cost effective, useful and helpful.

As you see, there are many left to do like blog committing, social bookmarking (I have done a few), RSS feed, and so on. I can only go that far within 3 months. Many things are left to do in order to compete and achieve more. I still have to do and learn many more.

My point is... I always do thing with precaution-never invest to something that I have never research.

Honestly speaking, I am so excited to get my main page on Google page 2 within 3 months. Of course, it cannot be always on the same spot or page. It can be down or up.

But trust me, within two month it must be on Google page 1!

Is this sound like challenging? If then, sorry...please don’t get me wrong. I honestly would love to motivate those who are nowhere to find the success, who are broke, who lost their focus and especially all wondering newbie.

Trust in yourselves...believe what you are doing...after the end of tunnel there will be light!

In reality, the keyword term "work from home ideas" without quotes has 751 million competing websites, so that's even more of an accomplishment.

I have been going a couple of months and only cracked the first

Now even better news, but your only competing against 2,340,000 websites that use your key word in their anchor and who are you actual competitors so maybe you won't be too excited. But, I typed in your keywords and you came up Number 7 on the first page on my first look. May not stay there but you are on the way, great job.

Results 901 - 1000 of about 2,380,000 for allinanchor: work from home ideas

If so 901 - 1000 results is the number of actual competition...am I right to say that? Please advice.

Looks that way to me. There are more but Google will not display them because they are the same sites as already listed. That just means the sites are doing the same things we are doing, they are writing content ujsing the same keywords. So they have repeated results for those keywords.

I came up with 999 and can't get more. But, to be clear, those sites do have more pages with those words as their anchor. So it is a tough phrase to get ranked for but you have already done a terrific job of beating the majority so it's just a matter of consistency to get to page 1 in the top 3.
