Video and Articles Do Work!

For many inside this forum, you know or may remember that in October 2006 Google "Danced". They danced me right out of the building and took my PIPS Site from a PR5 to a PR0.

I was literally banned and no matter how many emails or certified letters I sent, I was never told the reason.

So, while expanding my business in other areas, I have been diligently working on my website for the past few months. Just 2 weeks ago, I put up a Web 2.0 type site.

I have 30 or so articles all with video on my home page. For some reason, Google has "graced me" with a presence once again on their webpages.

Take a look. Tell me what you think of my efforts. Test it, see if you find any broken links (except the Read My BLog link) I'm having some problems with a new blogging platform...but, that will be fixed this weekend I hope.

anyway....I am now a true believer that videos and articles at least on the home page is the way to go - FOR ME.

Please, any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Hi ya, Allen.

No time/eyesite to check links right now, but I just want to say how FANtastic your site looks. I have seen so many incarnations of it by this time, and it just keeps getting better.

It is really polished and professional -

(I did click the article-profit link and it works and also looks great)

I remember the downgrade you mention and mine went down in the same dance.

My theory is still that it was due to an unnatural amount of linking from submitting to too many link directories at one time.

I have talked to a few experts and they say even making too many changes to the site at one time can cause a temporary fall.

I think it is mean that they won't tell someone why or what they have done to fall into disfavor. They have far too much power.

Anyway, keep up all the good work!

Hello Allen,
I just visted your site and it looks great to me. Also, I clicked around using the various links and had no problem. I believe that you are right about using videos. I think that it is much better to use them over anything else. I know that you will benefit from this site.
