Hi Guys,

If any of you are considering or would like to make their own video to promote your PIPS site etc,. but can't afford the technology.....there is an alternative.

You can easily make a video using only free resources. Resources you probably have on your computer already.

I recently purchased a plr video course of some 30 videos. Part of this course shows step by step how to make a video using these resources.

Now being a little sceptical, I decided to put it to the test and follow the instructions. The result is this video Have You Made Any Money Yet? | Online Home Business Tips which doesn't directly promote pips and so I can't post the video here.

Now the reason for the post is this, my licence prohibits me from giving away the course, but if you would like a copy of the relevant instructional videos for personal use only I'll make a deal with you.

The full video course (30 video's) costs $37 if anyone is interested in a massive PIPS discount for the full course or part of, just pm me..sneak peak of first 2 vids on my site.these alone are helpful..

...and it isn't true you can't post the video here otherwise.

Having said that this sounds too familiar. I recently considered a WSO/JV that had just such videos about making videos with free resources.

I was in contact with the program owner as they asked me to JV with them. I was going for it as was my friend who wanted me to train his members in this and he would pay for it and also advertise my clickbank ID for the product to his list.

However in speaking to the owner of the program, it was clear that I did not have a license to show the videos to anyone - so I couldn't use them to train anyone.

This is a real fact because I had to turn the guy down on his JV proposal - tried several ways to negotiate with me, but the one thing that was the deal breaker was that I couldn't show the videos - after all that is what he is selling, right?

Just be sure you have the right to give these away...

On the other hand maybe if it is a different program and the license allows this, this could be the one I use for my friend's training. Please let me know...

Cool, then maybe this is the answer I have been looking for to help my friend (and make some money). This may be a Godsend, Graham. I was very disappointed because the deal fell through with what would have been a double joint venture for me.

Maybe I can pull at least one off with your scenario. I will definitely check this out. I don't quite understand what they are selling if they are giving away the videos? Is there an affiliate program? For me to use it there would have to be a way for me to make money from it since the training I would do for free in exchange for him promoting my link to his list.

Hi Stephen,

Yes, you understand me perfectly.....but for clarification, the entire video course is 30 video's long (5 hrs.) My offer only includes links to 5 of the video's pertaining to making a video.

Seriouly though, newbies have a hard enough time promoting their own site let alone trying to use their site to promote someone else site. I would have to pass on that offer.

But, your video series on the other hand is another story. I do know the source and I've seen the value. Those are things newbies can use in a big way.

I hear what you are saying Stephen and you have made some good points. However, I think you have missinterpreted my intentions and I can see why.

The content of the video above was meant to show the quality of video's you are able to produce using free resources when you know how. The fact that it advertises my site was meant to demonstrate how you can use videos to promote with.....I seriously never considered I was plugging my own site at the expense of others ....

The bottom line is, this is a way of giving these video's free to PIPS members ...it's the only way I can think of without charging and without falling foul of the terms of my license. If on the other hand any pips members would be prepared to buy these video's, then thats another story.

As far as plugging the video's to earn a commission is concerned, I don't yet have the facility to set this up....but it is food for thought.

Hey Graham, never thought you would "underhanded", it's not who you are.

But I still wouldn't put a video on my site without some cashola or something similar.

If someone or a lot of someone's were to sign up to your autoresponder via a squeeze page that could be considered payment. A name on a list could be worth quite a bit.

Speaking of signing up to emails I may have to add to the annoying Guru's thread.

Buying all kinds of video producing software, having had some experience, is really
irrelevant when it comes to the difficult part of making videos. There are many
free video software packages and Windows has one for free. Here is what I found to be really difficult. I wanted to produce one of those sit down videos with a webcam, so I went to Best Bu and bought what was suggested was a good, not expensive webcam for what I think was $79. I get home try to install it and the software won't work. I take it back,explain all the details and then they tell me,that "Oh, Microsoft
Certified is different than Designed for Vista" or something to that effect. Just because it is certified doesn't seem to mean a thing. You have to get Designed for Vista or not just Vista Compatible. Be sure if you go to Best But to check with the
Technical Support people before you by anything.
Well, I ended up going to Dell's website since I have a Dell Laptop,talkig to someone on a Dell Forum,then getting something that worked for $29. Now after about 6 months the resolution is despicable. Maybe I should have bought something expensive from Dell. I don't know, but these are the difficult decisions regardless of some videos about making videos.
Next, if you want to take moving videos when you are walking around with
a video camera, there are many other difficult decisions. I happened to have lost the cable where you offload your videos from your video camera to your laptop. I found a really good solution by going to Staples and buying a MobileMateSD+ by SanDisk.
All you need to do is take your memory out of the video camera and insert it into the
MobileMateSD+ and then insert the MobileMateSD+ into one of your extra ports for memory or other peripherals on the back of your laptop. I think the MobileMateSD+
costs between $5-10 and is a lot easier to find than an obscure cable that is not generic and out of date and takes 5 weeks to receive.

I have seen about a dozen versions of free video editing software, but the big thing is just get out there and do it.
