Is there a Keyword Tool?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a tool I can use to check how often a keyword is searched for via search engines. I have recently started to achieve between page 1-5 for a number of keyword phrases on Google.

I am on page 1 of google for the keyword phrases:

top ten profit business
top ten opportunities in business today
top ten free advertising sites
top ten free advertising

All for my PIPS Site Top Ten Home Business

I am just wanting to know how often these are searched for and whether or not I will receive much FREE traffic via any of these keywords.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Tash

Hi Natasha,

Well done for your efforts so far.

More successes wished for you.

Meanwhile, just to advise that you seem to have put the "cart before the horse". You should first determine the estimated/expected traffic and the competing websites for your search phrase before optimizing for these keyword phrases as this would infact determine which phrases you decide to optimize for.

Cheers

Natasha,

You can get the search numbers by using
Seo Book Keyword Suggestion Tool
which gives you WordTracker, Yahoo, Msn And Google numbers or
if you want only Google:
type Google Keyword Tool into the search box.

Additionally you could research:

1. How many backlinks # 1 site has, so do you have
chances to reach the # 1 position and

2. How heavy is the competition.
Type your search term with quotes around it
and if the number is 10.000 or under, use it.
