Hi Guys,
I want to create a couple of emails, for use in seperating my current list. I was thinking of just simply asking my customers to maybe select the category that they are interesting in because i dont wana send them mails about offers that they just wouldnt wana know about. I hope it makes sense so far............. Example... Hi Fred, Thank you for recent purchase and i hope all is good for you. Im currently in the process of sorting out some special offers for my subscribers but i want to ensure that i am sending the right offers to the right people and for obvious reasons i only want to offer you products and items that you are interesting in. Would you please tick the relevant box (or boxes) so i can ensure that you only recieve the offers that you would like to receive. Thank you for your help. a) ksdufhdfvnef b) cjiuf fhdc od c) sdbiuhfkjdcn or D) I would be interested in all of the above at the right price. Just choose A B C OR D click reply and type the letter into the subject line at the top of the email. Many Thanks Chunkynuts PS Please add any comments in your message and if i can be of any assistance to you what so ever just let me know. -------------------------------------------------------------------- I was thinking something a long those lines. I do already know the items each individual has been purchasing (if i go through each individual transaction) so i am asking the question, should i just go through them all myself or is sending this type of email more than acceptable??? Basically i just want to split my list in to 4 types of product/buyers as the items they purchase are totally different, but at the moment i have one list but i want to send the relevant offers to the relevant people. I am expecting for someone to come up with a much simpler way for me, i currently use windows mail and dont use autoresponders or anything like that and as many of you know i am a NEW AGED DINOSAUR. All details/email addresses are currently kept on an exel spread sheet containing email, name, home address, item purchased and even phone numbers the problem is there are now over 5000 and i want to split them up and start making use of my list by sending offers, cross promotions, back end offers etc If any one can see the light please just drop me a quick note, it would be really appreciated and i would of course be happy to send them one of your offers, if its right ie product and price. Thanks Guys I look fwd to your responses. ChunkyNuts PS I have just got Thunderbird which has autorespond features and filters etc but i am about as technical as KING KONGS GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER ; ) |

To find out exactly what your users want you can run a Poll. Give them specific choices and see what is most popular. If you make it visible on your pages you won't have to ask them to fill it out, people like Polls.
