I recently started getting a flood of PIPS opt-ins (mostly from Asia it seems) into my autoresponder this month after having my website up for about a year now. What does this mean? I was also wondering how people use their opt-in lists (other than the regular ongoing autoresponder messages). How do you market to them? How do you get them to eventually become PIPS members?

If you have upgraded your autoresponder, you can send broadcasts to your list for 'special' deals like free eBooks or reports or other incentives to try the program. Everybody loves a free bonus, or a 'sale'. Use some emotional triggers like - for the next 30 days only, we are offerring ________ for signing up for a trial membership, etc. |

Hi, You need to check what you did to get that kind of traffic. Did you use a submission service or a social bookmarking site, is it a one time thing or not? Use Google Analytic or StatCounter to check where your visitors are coming from and from which site. Tanny |

I've heard from more than one person that this summer has been one of the worst for Internet business that they can remember in a long time; even worse than usual. Right around Labor Day (and just after renewing my GetResponse account), I started getting 5 or 6 opt-ins a day, up until a few days ago; it is now down to about 1 a day. About 10 or so have been from the new co-op PIPS sales page, which I have on Traffic Swarm and some other traffic exchanges. I now have a good hundred or so active opt-ins more than I did before this month began (no signups though). To answer your question: For the past year, I've been posting articles on my blog almost daily, I have an article directory of over 11,000 articles, I submit my Url to search engines every 30 days (through Empowerism), I've submitted over 70 articles to article directories, submitted my site to hundreds of online directories, posted comments on forums/blogs/guestbooks, have acquired several reciprocal links, posted online classified ads, and even had my site optimized just before the summer. Could all this now be paying off? Why have I not gotten even 1 signup out of them though?
