A couple questions about support desk
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi everyone,
I have a couple questions, perhaps you could shed some light.

1. I am having a problem with my site, I have made a support ticket and when I try to check it, it tells me no ticket found. This has been the case with 2 tickets I have created, and I have had no response from either.I don't want to keep making these tickets, so can you tell me is this normal.

2. Is there a separate help desk for PIPS, or is it all just the warrior forum help desk?
Thanks for listening
Mike

Hi Mike.

Our helpdesk, as it states in the training, is http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/helpdesk

This is for all site problems and PlugInProfitSite issues.

The helpdesk in the forum is for forum issues only.

If you are referring to a ticket you put in the PIPS helpdesk, you should receive an email in response (just to say we got it) but if your email client blocks it, we can't help it.

You can go to the helpdesk and put in the ticket number to get the answer in 24 hours (48 if Sunday)

Be careful about the difference between number ZERO '0' and LETTER 'O' which you can see look different.

Look forward to hearing from you on the helpdesk.

Patrician,
Thank you for the quick reply, I have recieved mail from pips helpdesk before so my mail shouldn't be a problem. I will continue to look for the e-mails, however, the first of those ticket#'s I copied to a text simply to avoid the O,0 situation. Unfortunatly if both tickets did create, the help desk will have two for the same issue, for this I appologize.

I have redirected my main page to the sales page, so what visitors I do get won't have to see the white page that says this is the future home of etc.
Thanks again, I'll keep watching the mail
Mike

I use to send many questions to PIPS Helpdesk. Pat has always do her job by giving me the answer that I asked for. She has done a good job. But usually the answer will come after 1 or 2 days. That is ok, but she never fail to deliver the answer.

Pat is one of the TOP help desk personnel you will find on ANY site on the Internet.

A response in 24 hours or less if unbelievable anymore. Try that on some of your major Guru sites.... 36-48 hours seems to be the norm anymore.

I have actually waited up to 4 days on some sites to get a response. Just to be told I need more "specific" information. Then it's another 2 days before they get back to me.

With the amount of "Help" asked for by so many new members, a 24 hour response is going above and beyond.

Pat, FANTASTIC job, Stone really should give you a raise for all you do for the newbies as well as some of the "entrenched" that are still working out bugs!

Thanks Allen and everyone for the vote of confidence. I do try!

Man, I am a sucker for a compliment. I will gloat all day!

Bless your hearts.

My turn around is 24 hours or less, except Sundays. I turn the helpdesk off about 9pm Saturday night, so it may be close to 48 by Monday. Same goes for new order desk.

All requests are handled on a first-come-first-served basis.

If someone harasses me by writing to me every single day, yet does not want to take my advice to refer to the training and/or the forum, it makes me wonder if I shouldn't use Empowerism's model that if the question is already answered in the FAQ or training, they will just not respond at all.

Sometimes you have to play hardball. Everybody needs to have limits.

and just something else to mention that I learned the hardway............

when you copy and paste these long strings of numbers, its easy to copy a space at the end and then it wont work anyway! be careful!

We love the job you do Pat - thank you!

Hello Everyone,

I know this is late, but I could not let everyone praise Pat for all her kindness and I not put my appreciation of her in. Pat have been a wonderful help to me on many occasions and I really appreciate all that she do.

Thanks Pat,
Martha
