Yeah, I was a little taken a back as well. I never experienced it when everyone said that it's such a useful tool. I'm using Dreamweaver at the moment but I think it's not so compatible with Vista (I can't create tables for some weird reason). Asher |

To tell you the truth I always take the path of least resistance and it is easier for me to learn just enough HTML to be dangerous, than it is to learn an editor... So I get along... Just a little embarassed that my instructions were out of date - by far... |

Hi Pat, I recently bought a new lap top and downloaded nvu just a couple of day ago!? Are you saying not to use it anymore? or just that you can't find it? I know I had problems finding a site to download it from, but I managed it. Graham |

Hi Pat, Kompozer is the new and improved Nvu, and it has easy css too. I stopped using it for a while and got back to the good old MS-fontpage, it is the only survivor I left on my laptop after upgrading to MS 2007. Tanny |

HI Graham. If you click the link in my post above (Did NVU Die?)you will see they are discussing the fact that the domain name expired and then Warriors are talking about the new version and how the old version is not supported anymore. Glad you could still find it. If anyone uses the new version, I would be interested to hear about the improvements. One assumes a new version would be an improvement. (however that is not always the case) |

Hi, Pat: Thanks for this thread and the discussion here. I use Nvu and have heard of KompoZer, but did not know they were related. GT |

There is another website suite that I have been testing. SeaMonkey.com It's being touted by Firefox (since they make it) and it's totally free. It's a complete website design program. Lots of features. Allen |
