Hi guys, Gosh, I'm whacked out tired. Been trying to find out how to put up a video on my site and it's taking me AGES. I'm now making a squeeze page (my first one ever made by myself!) for Success University and I want to use one of their videos. I have the .wmv file but I know .wmv files tend to not get shown on the websites because people need to download plugins and codecs which is something that will kill my opt-in rates. The video should autoplay and if there are any controls, they're supposed to be really small so it doesn't block the video. Anyone here knows how I can do that? Asher |

Hi Asher, What you want to do is convert the video you have into a Flash file. Then, just upload the files to your server. This can be done very easily with Video Web Wizard. PM me, and I'll send a link. Alan |

Thanks, Alan! I just Googled Video Web Wizard and the price is definitely out of my range. Guess I won't be able to use that cause it looks good. Asher |

Hi Asher, It is so easy to do that. Just go to YouTube.com and open an account with them. Upload a video there and then you YouTube will give you a code that you can add to your website. Send me a PM and I will help you out. Tal |

Thanks for the offer Tal, Thing is... I don't want to have it up on YouTube simply because I don't want to give my visitors the impression that I'm just another guying trying to make money from an opportunity "I got from YouTube". And Alan, I found the solution to it and got my video converted to FLV. Thanks for your help though! Asher |

Asher, many people who are MLM gurus and internet marketing gurus use YOUTUBE for their videos. I am also doing the same. There is nothing wrong with adding your videos there. Tal |

Asher, One good thing about using YouTube is that you can see how many people view the video. You wouldn't be able to otherwise. It may not matter, but I know I like to know that sort of thing. Alan |

The simplest way in my opinion is as said before uploading your video to youtube and pasting the video embed code to your website.

Agreed that having a YouTube video gives the benefit of stats by views and all. Having people see that it's a YouTube video may not be that bad as well. Issue is, after the video ends, it goes into a "other related" videos screen. Which could be distracting when I'm showing it on my site. Another thing, if it's material that I have no rights to brand myself on, I could get shot down and the video taken down as well without my knowledge. I've come to several websites that had a YouTube video embedded and it simply said "Video No Longer Available" or something similar. That's not a risk I'm willing to take! Asher |

Thing is, I'm using the video for my squeeze page. The MLM gurus and internet marketing gurus don't use the videos on their squeeze pages (at least not the ones I've seen). They upload the videos and link them to blogs or newsletters. Asher | |
