I have been doing backlinks from Paul and Angela for about 4 months now. I checked with webmasters and I only show 7 links. How is that possible. I need to understand how I have linked 300 backlinks and only show 7. I opened this site in 10/08, where did I go wrong.?

Simple truth is that not all your Angela's backlinks get indexed. And from those that get indexed not all will show when you use different programs or services to check them. But even if they don't show they will still count.

I wouldn't take too much notice. Y ou will never really find out from google how many backlinks you have. Just keep building backlinks as you are.

The advice you were given is correct. Google doesn't show even a quarter of your total backlinks, for whatever reason. That doesn't mean they're not indexed and counting towards your backlink juice.

However, I can tell you that not every backlink you create will get indexed. To make sure they do I recommend you check out Google Slingshot. It's only $7.

Hi Agatella,

By following the backlink package's instruction on how to create your backlink, it should work.

But not all (the backlink that you had left on the site) will be indexed by Google Webmaster tools.

Another alternatively where you can check your link popularity, improve your keyword, etc is SEO Centro.

or just do it the old fashioned was and do a site: www.yoursite.com search in Google. I use Yahoo Site explorer for Yahoo backlink checking as well
