The easy and effective way to get High PR backlinks. is to spy on your competition and see who is linking to them. and do better. here is how to do it. find a domain that rank high with google for your term, copy the domain now go to this Backlinks Checker Tool | Free Backlinks tool with PR of each Backlink and past the domain, hit check. it will give you the pages that links to that domain with the PR of each page. visit each page that have a PR 1 or higher (there will be thousands of PR0, that comes from articles and directories) if the page is a blog post, article, video, profile page or forum post. Submit a comment and get a backlink from that page. if not try to figure out how your competitor gut that link and do the same to get one, like contacting the webmaster. This way you are getting good quality backlinks. It does not matter if those links are dofollow or not, the fact that this domain rank high on Google because of those links is enough. Find out the highest number of PR0 where it comes from ( I am almost sure it will be an article directory, so try to do the same). do this research for at least 3 domains and get the higher number of backlinks you can. This way you will be sure that you will eventually do better than any of those domain. Good luck |

I do this with the sites that are listed above me in the search engines for my keywords and try to get links on those sites as well, just beware of the trap of thinking that if you have backlinks on the same sites as your competitors you will overtake them, keep making original backlinks as well

When you post comments for blog, make a valuable comment. This way you add value to site, and your post will not look like spam post. Even first time don't add any links. Come back later and add second post then use your link. |

Though manual backlinking takes time it's worth it's weight in gold, and I agree that offering value when posting comments can be extremely powerful.

Here is a back link lesson from the Godfather. This is a back link all raw and ugly http://itsgoodbusiness.net This is a back link using key words Automated Marketing System See the difference? The little Google bots will reward you for that link having the proper keywords. If you make the key worded link BOLD as well Google will reward even more. Google likes BOLD links. Google also like you mentioning their name in your posts too. Automated Marketing System Thomas Prendergast CEO Veretekk.com |

getting lots of sudden backlinks could sand box your site, if you want to have solid back links, other than blog commenting, forum writing just like what you have done now, make couple of blogs using blogspot or other free online blogs, ( 5-10 maybe?) called blog ring, write small articles on them, every week maybe? post and ping, make those blogs active, even small changes, of course useful content, then make link connection to your blogs as ring, meaning have a link of 2nd blog in your 1st blog, then link of 3rd blog in your 2nd blog, and so on until the last blog, do not link back to each other, then from the last blog have a link to your main web site. you could make couple of blog rings, as I believe it is very powerful. hope it helps |

I have used the free tool myself many times. it is quick and Cool FYI for newbies. The PR rank is showing you the page rank for the actual page that the backlink goes to not to the main website landing page. |

Good advice, but your backlink checker isn't too reliable. One of my authority sites has almost 2000 backlinks, and your backlink checker said "zero backlinks". Another one of my sites has almost 100 links, and your checker found 2. The best backlink checker tool I've found (besides searching directly from the search engines) is the Firefox free plugin "SearchStatus" |

I'm really starting to see and believe how important quality backlinks are. They do take a short amount of time to read and post, but so worth it! Thanks! |

As often happens, I was searching for info on something else when I stumbled across this thread. I know it's an old one but it's just what I needed to find today. After feeling VERY discouraged at all the work I have put in to get backlinks, and not really knowing how to quantify what's working and what's not - your wonderful little tool gave me some great encouragement! Now I can see how many, and from which sources. Thank you so much. Next - off to spy on the competition! |

Thanks jossefsal for these tips. yes this is the most obvious way to obtain backlinks and you are clear if those backlinks can really work or not when checking the domain in google. no need to buy backlink packets this way is sufficient!
