Default Pips Training for beginners

Hello,

I entered the Pips blog contest ! I completely trashed my site that has been up over 4 yrs or more. Why ? I just felt like it.

I have been doing internet marketing for a long while now...you can see when I joined the forum.

For all you doubters , of all the things that I have tried...Pips is FAR the easiest.

If you can't make pips work then you should probably look elsewhere to make money, mow yards, paint #'s on sidewalks , etc but get off the internet.

Look, it will not happen overnight and it might not happen in a year but it will happen with persistence.

I am not claiming to be a pips guru but I have decided to go full force with pips and see what I can do. I have not actively promoted pips in awhile ( more lke 3 yrs or so ) but i still get trickles of new members from my previous work promoting.

I am going to lay everything out for you in my blog in hopes to keep myself motivated , so If you want to learn what I did then follow along on my blog at Best Home Based Business

If I win the contest, I will be giving away my prize if that is ok with Stephen and the group.

I just want to have some fun and get people motivated , there is nothing worse than seeing your own subscribers leave because they don't make money overnight.

I am getting nothing out of this except for self motivation and the pleasure of showing you what I did to get that monthly check.

P.S I chose to use the FREE revolution theme in case you were wondering what theme I have altered.

Jeff

Your site looks great, Jeff.

However, FYI the two bottom graphics on the stack at the bottom right sidebar are not displayed.

It is inspiring to see your spirit - and I wish you all the best in your endeavors of course.

Good for you, Jeff. It's your spirit that a lot of people need. It's a shame that so many people want to give up just because they didn't make any money as quick as they thought they would. We all need some motivation from time to time.

I just completely re-did my site, well, the home page anyway. Care to take a look? Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Your blog looks great, BTW.

Hi Alan, your site is looking good. I can tell you have been working hard on it.

The only suggestion I would make is to make the links on the top of the page open in a new window. Right now if I click them (I clicked them) they take me away from your site to a different page. That's usually not a good idea.

Carpunky,

Your site looks great, I'll be checking in from time to time.
Good luck with the contest.

Also, I clicked your rss link, all it did was open a page of source. I am thinking it shouldn't be that way. Please let myself and the rest of us newbies know what has to be dome to fix it. Thanks.

Alan your site looks awesome too.

mjcarpe,

If you clicked on the rss icon it should have opened a new window.

You should have noticed a new link in the browser...this is the rss feed link that i would use to submit my site to feeds or others could use to get my feeds.

This should be the feed link that you will see in the browser url

Best Home Based Business or if you would have clicked comments it would have gave you the comment feed Comments for Best Home Based Business

Lightbulb Re: Pips Training for beginners

Hi Jeff,
I've entered PIPS contest just because I want to push my self little harder working on blog even I know I don't have much time when coming home after helping my son finishing his daily homework. I also know I'm not going to win this prize because I do not have ability to write and know limited on html. I know this will take time and a lots of work to make money so I'll try and hope some day I don't have to go to work early in the morning and come home late in the afternoon.
Thanks
Kha

Hi Kha, just blog the only way you know how. Don't worry about Technical stuff or trying to get it right. It's taken me months to learn some technical stuff and I'm not close to good at it. Plus my spelling a grammar is terrible. I also have a case of FAT fingers. That's when you try to hit one key and you hit two and post something misspelled. It looks really bad when it's some ones name.

But none of that is important in the contest.

All that matters is to post a short post on your blog as often as you can and to comment on other blogs as often as you can. By doing those two things you can easily win the contest and you will also be making a great start at building your business.

Again, your post do not have to be long, spelled correctly or written with proper grammar and your comments don't need to be long either. Consistency is the main point.
