My Empowerism is inactive???
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

When I try to log into Empowerism it says my site is inactive. I have somebody trying to sign up under me so this is really bad timing. I can't find a way to contact them, when you click on "Contact" it just takes you to the FAQs.

Any ideas on how to get my account active?

I have the exact same issue! I never received a request for money or a de actvation notice from Emporism, and now when the links and banners on my PIP home page are clicked on, someone else's affiliate welcome page is opening up.

Hi,

I believe I got a notice that you must make sure your auto renewal is "on" so if you dont have enough commissions earned that they charge your card for your monthy membership. I always have enough in commissins earned so this isnt an issue. However my auot subscription was already on. Perhaps everyone got this notice?

Take care

I never got any notice. They really should email you if they are going to do this. Very unfriendly. Unfortunately I had not referred anybody recently and I was not paying the dues because I'm short on money right now (I am heavily invested in real estate). I was using Jeff Casmer's SFI coop to try to get PIPS signups, and I finally got one this week but now I will not benefit from the empowerism referral. It's just a little frustrating.

If I can't get Empowerism back it really doesn't make sense for me to continue with PIPS. I can't afford the Success University and there is nothing else besides Host4Profit generating any income.

I am making some money from other programs but not PIPS.

Hello,

Particularly if you use a junk address like Yahoo or Hotmail, I would estimate 50% of business mail is lost or blocked. Other ISPs block like Comcast, Cox, and just about every ISP in Australia.

In general in the IM industry the figure is 40% of email is never delivered. There are no bounce messages I would say 95% of the time. You just have no idea that someone will not receive your mail.

Don't assume the worst about people when you don't get emails. Don't say you never had a problem with it. You don't know what you aren't receiving.*

As one who sends loads of email as part of my job here, I can document every single time that I have responded and people tell me I didn't. Believe me.

Empowerism sends lots of notices about things that affect your account. After all it is in their own best interest that you stay a paid member.

It is very simple to contact them but I advise you to change your email address to something that doesn't block mail like Googlemail (gmail.com) and do that in your account profile as well as ask them to reply with a copy to Gmail.

However the beauty of a helpdesk is that if you don't receive a notice that your ticket has been responded to, you can always just log back in to the helpdesk and check the status of your ticket - along with seeing the response.

Empowerism helpdesk LINK below:

Another point I want to make is that if you were a paid member, if you don't pay, for 3 months you can still make fast start bonuses if you get a sale ($20) - you just can't make the monthly referral commissions -

After 3 months you make nothing.

*To explain what I mean by 'business mail' - any company who uses bulk mailing (legal, permission based) to their members - the algorhythm for this is similar to spam - multiple messages sent in rapid succesession - this can trip up the spam filters; as well there are lots of complaints from people who are too lazy/unable to comprehend to click the unsubscribe link when they decide they no longer want to receive something they signed up for. So they may complain and get a company on a blacklist.

Hi Pat,

My email is not filtered.

I don't mean to be negative, I think Empowerism can be a great affiliate business. But please send an email before de-activating an account, and provide some way for people to contact you once you are inactivated. The link you provided "login" won't let me contact them either.

I've been wit PIPS for over 1.5 years and have loved my time with it. It's been very educational. I haven't done enough with article marketing and blogging due to time constrants but I have tried promoting it in other ways and just haven't gotten the response I had haoped for. Like I said I have other programs that are beginning to produce for me, one after only 3 days. But I'm not totally giving up yet. I may continue on promoting some of the elements of PIPS but if I don't have Empowerism it may not be under the umbrella of PIPS.

I have submitted several tickets with no response. My email is not filtered, and my Epowerism banner on my PIP site is opening someone else's affiliate sign up page

I wonder if they'll let you sign up again with a new account?

Yes they will let you get another number but you want to avoid that if possible.

I know you are not being negative and you have a legitimate issue.

However, again you do not know what mail you do not receive. I have been a member for over 4 years and I can tell you that they do respond.

This company has been in business for at least 10 years and if they did not respond that would not be the case.

ALL EMAIL CLIENTS HAVE SPAM FILTERS. Whether they tell you they are blocking mail or not, THEY ARE.

If you say you have several tickets and no one responds, again, if you don't get the email, you log in to the helpdesk to check the ticket. If you do not see a response after 48 hours, then you submit the ticket again with 'SECOND REQUEST' or 'URGENT'.

I will say though that they state if you are asking them a question that they have already answered in their FAQ they won't respond. (I hate this) and I don't think your issues would be included in that (but just wanted to qualify my statements about response).

The easiest way to do this as mentioned above is to have the button checked in your profile to give you AUTOMATIC RENEWAL. There is also a button although I can't think what it is called, but it is to use your commissions to pay your dues - if any - if not then charge your credit card.

Empowerism is not perfect - don't get me wrong - nobody is. However it actually is a good program if for no other reason than $20 fast start bonus out of a $25 fee is pretty DARN good. You keep that whether the people stay or not. It is also sent right away (within a few weeks) rather than waiting for accrual, monthly statements, etc.)

Let us know how it goes.

Hi,

I logged on one day after investing $100 in that thing they got going...I do not even remember what it was. I couldn't find a contact ..Finally , I did and never got a reply.

That was 2 years ago...I personally would never even log into this site again.

I was spitting fire from my mouth I was so hot. Maybe , my autorenewal was not turned on but they had my phone # and my $100 was in the pot.

Lesson learned

Jeff

I had the same thing happen to me.I had not logged into my account for several weeks and then I received notice that someone had requested the free sample of Excellence Magazine. The next day when I tried to logg in my account was inactive.
I did manage to submit a ticket and my account was activated. However, the one member that was in my downline has been removed.
It would have been nice to get some kind of warning. Lesson learned.

Hi David,

I went to your site and clicked on your Empowerism link and it's active.

As Patricia mentioned, if you don't renew your Empowerism subscription you drop to what's called Free status. As a free member your site remains active, you can still refer and earn the Fast Start Bonus. As a free member you don't have access to the paid subscription benefits (Excellence Magazine, leads, etc). However, you can not remain on the Free level for more then 90 days, so you must renew your subscription before the 90 days are over. If not your site is deleted.

Empowerism does send out notification messages but even if the messages don't get through to you I think it's fair to say that Empowerism gives PLENTY of time to renew a subscription before they press the delete button.

As for ways to contact Empowerism there are several:

- The Secure Email Center, through your Member Center: all account issues should be addressed through this support channel. Even if the email reply to your ticket doesn't get through to you you can always login to the Secure Email Center and check on your ticket.

- The EmpowerBoard: Empowerboard HOME - Powered by eve community
As moderator of the Empowerism message board I havent missed a day at the board in 3 1/2 years. If you post there your message will be seen the very same day by me or someone of the Empowerism staff.

- For urgent matters you can always send your ticket number to my email johan at empowerism.net and I'll make sure to follow up on it personally

For those of you who haven't logged into their Empowerism Member Centers for a while, I invite you to check it out, review your subscription settings and check out what's new.

Last month Janet added a new and brandable ebook on Email Marketing. There's also a new feature to search the Excellence Magazines by keyword. The public pages are being re-written and a video will be added.

Have a great week!

Regards

Johan
