brackets in the forum are ALL [ ] close and open.

Somehow my instructions (those look like mine) have confused you - I will go back and look but what I am giving is an example of HTML with the < and > brackets which are not allowed in the forum.

Open bracket= [ and close bracket= ] are the forum code equivalent of < >

So wherever you see < open or > close, replace it with the [open or ] close

In your case as well at the very end you have just a close bracket but what you need is the open bracket /url close bracket

Forum Signatures

Signatures are created in your forum profile (up in the right corner, click 'profile'), add your forum password. Inside your profile, there is a box called 'signature'. Add your signature and preview it, if it looks okay, go to the bottom of the page and click 'Save'.

* Signatures can't contain any affiliate links - this means nothing like http://www.pluginprofitsite.com/main-12345

** You may use your own domain names that you legally registered only
- http://www.Your-Domain.com

*** No affiliates links also means no redirects like /pips.html, /dotcomology.html, or /newbievideos.html

* Signatures shouldn't contain 'canned' text. Be creative.

* Signatures can't exceed 5 lines including if you double space

* Signatures must NOT be in color or larger than a regular size font
-------------------------------------------
*** To make a signature with anchor text:

(Open Bracket) = [
(Close Bracket) = ]

(Open Bracket)URL="http://www.yourdomain.com"(Close Bracket)Your Text Here(Open Bracket)/URL(Close Bracket)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello, Steid:

In your last set of [ ] brackets, you do not need to repeat your website info. All you need is and that should do the trick!

By the way, it has taken me a long time to figure out the < > brackets and the [ ] brackets and the opens and closes and so on and so forth! Bt after awhile, it begins to make sense and you begin to read the code just like reading words - it's amazing!

Thanks GT; I finally got it after obsessing with it all morning long. Took about 10 minutes with your help

Thanks GT. I didn't know you can just type and that is why what I am saying was confusing - In the old forum it would have just printed the output and not showed the codes and it still would if the whole routine was used.

Glad you got it sorted because it was very simple especially if one actually reads the entire instruction.

Do you want my job? LOL

Hello, CambriaCorp:

You are very welcome. But I wouldn't call it genius - just experience.

I spend a lot of time in a lot of forums and different ones set up signatures with different code. In the beginning, I spent a LOT of time figuring that all out (just like many members have done here).

For example, the Warrior signatures require "quotation" marks around the URL that is used in the hypertext code.

But some other forums do NOT use "quotation" marks.

Anyway, it's nice to see you here and I wish you the best of success in 2009! Enjoy the Warrior Forum.
