Anyone have a contact for someone at Host4Profit.

I see now I'm not the only one not being paid commissions and also having trouble getting a response.

Anyone?

I have never had a problem getting a response from them.
They did have trouble with their billing and if you email
them about commissions owed they will look into it and
will take care of you.

Just send them an email from your back office and
everything should all pan out.

Cheers,

Re: Host4Profit -

Totally get responses even at midnight and have for 5 years.

If you don't get a response you need to use a different email service - first try (a) adding their address to your address book or white list (b) check your spam folder. or (c) get a free email account from Google at Gmail.com and use that (but identify your regular email address in the message for security reasons). (and still check your spam folder for the one-off)

resellers(at)host4profit.net
support(at)host4profit.net

Another factor is that commissions need to accrue to get a check - for USA $30 and for out of USA $100. That may be an issue for you - not sure what your situation is.

OK - Noah - yes it is true there was a problem with the vendor who pays commissions in the past - He was assured the issue had been resolved - however it went on and on and he discovered it hadn't been resolved.

Looks like it still hasn't -

I am forwarding both threads to him and see what I can do -

I am giving him the email address we have for you in your PIPS profile and specifically asking him to get back to you directly.

I already have a response from David - He says he has responded to you 3 times - but your email address on file was invalid. DUH!

So I guess now if the address you have in your PIPS profile is valid, he will be able to reach you - otherwise, if I was you I would go and change either one or both email addresses, Noah.

Just an FYI, email on file was not nor has never been invalid.

I got a response to David and sent an apology to him as well. I had to be a little threatening in my email which seemed to get me an almost immediate response.

Now I feel bad for being an email cowboy, but it got a response rather quickly.

Hopefully now, it can be resolved.

Thanks for looking into it Patrician.

David: If you read this, my apologies to you as well and thanks for the quick response to my email today (even if you didn't like it)

I own up to it. I was a bit of a dork.

Yes I, too, am still having problems getting paid in Canada my H4P commissions for the past 4 months!! And before that, I hadn't been paid for 4 months either, even though my commissions had been well over $100US. I've contacted them twice this week and no response so far

I just sent the message to David, Liane and you should hear something back.

From David: Re: Liane

Not sure on the timing of this one, but they were responded to also.
They set their amount to $200 for the hold, and are at $190 for the
end of March.

Wrong...I never did set my threshold to $200. Someone on H4P's end did this, and I think it's very bad business! I received my cheque finally, but this service is going down in my books!

Not having done business with this company but having had the same types of issues with others, I found it takes a little vigilance on the part of both party's to get something straight. I could have been you changed the amount and don't remember, I buy crap online all the time and don't remember why I did it. I have reset my profiles on so many sites, I don't remember half the emails I have entered sometimes (Roboform fixed that). And sometimes my butterfingers mistypes my email. All I am saying is things happen its a digital world, you made $190 bucks, better than loosing that much.

Definitely happy about getting my money, but having been a client of this company since 2006, you can see from my payment history, which they list out in full, that I have never set my threshold above $100, so I can assure you that no butter-fingers happened on my end of things! It's a shame, since this used to be my favourite and most profitable membership.

Re: Host4Profit -
Share on:

I'm glad this was brought up. After reading other's problems, I decided to log-in to my Host4Profit account, something I haven't done in ages.

From what I can tell I have accrued $80 in commissions, but I have yet to be paid. Now, I'm no longer a member, just a reseller. From my understanding, once you become just a reseller, your commissions gets reduced down to $2.50 a month? Is that still correct?

My statement is showing that I'm still getting $10 a month, so as it stands that's $80 in owed commissions. Now, if that's not correct, then no worries as $2.50 a month will take a good bit of time to add up before the $30 payout.

Does any of this make sense? Pat, do you know which amount would be correct?

Thanks!

Re: Host4Profit -

Hi Alan,

I am still both a member and a reseller but from Canada. Maybe there's information I'm missing from somewhere, but I looked all over for something on Host4Profit's website and on the net yesterday that explains the different plans you can get, other than paying $29.95/mo and making $10/sale. I can't find that info anywhere, yet everyone here seems to know that if you cancel your member account, you make less. I'm a bit behind the times here I admit, with the switch to HostGator, but I also can't find anywhere where it says there is a cheaper hosting option, and yet someone at H4P tells me there's a cheaper hosting option that doesn't pay out commissions for $10/month. Is this advertised anywhere?

Thanks,

Liane

Re: Host4Profit -

I would say contact David, Alan -

He told me so many things that he was projecting (and doing) and also mentioned things to others, but as yet I have not seen anything published officially - this is either about resellers or hosting accounts. So I don't know what is going on there anymore.

They still host PIPS itself and my personal accounts - I know I miss their support everyday and HostGator just can't compare - not because they are not good but because I don't have the same close relationship and there are so many security protocols (naturally) that I really can't help people on the same level I used to with H4P -

As well they are so big that they are much slower to implement new accounts. All the paper work is there but the servers aren't ready. It is pretty gnarly almost every day with new applications.

I too was owed commissions and sent them an email. This was about 6 weeks ago. I forgot about it again until today when at my letterbox was a check from host4profit. So things are back to A OK with me.

Re: Host4Profit -

I'm resurrecting this thread because I've been having difficulties with H4P. I've been a member of H4P for about 4-5 years now and have never had a problem getting commission checks or immediate email responses from David. However, a couple of months ago I realised I haven't had a commission check for some time so tried to contact David. After 4 days and 4 emails, I had a reply from Beverley Hasbrouck saying David was out the office and back Monday when he will contact me.

Well, Monday has been and gone and I haven't been contacted. I've used two email addresses (one Hotmail) and checked spam folders.

Basically I'm owed commissions, and not getting them paid, and my emails are not being responded to. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Paul

Hold back on the email to David for now, he replied today.

Apparently they had a check returned in Feb (although my address has never changed :confused

I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks again,

Have you seen their website recently. Looks to me kind of a shady company. But that is my opinion.

It's not a shady company at all - we have done business with them for years.

They have had some recurring problems lately with their payment processor.

'Your opinion' couldn't be colored by the fact you have a hosting company could it?

Just 'my opinion'.

I too have been a long, long time customer and affiliate of host4profit, since 2001 and usually never had a problem. But over the last year or so they have stopped paying me commissions, I have attempted to contact them via the support form at least 7 times, never heard back. It's sad and unfortunate but true, I hate to say it but they have screwed me out of my commissions. I am going to be closing my host4profit account, taking my referral business with me, and no long recommending host4profit to any one, let alone my clients.

Pat or anyone else,

I'm wondering how you log-in to your Host4Profit affiliate account, as I can't seem to do so.

The link I'm used to is this: http://Resellers.WarriorPro.com. Is that still correct? I haven't seen commissions in a long time either and was hoping to at least log-in to see if I still have anyone left that I had referred long ago.

Thanks!

Hi Alan,

You can access the reseller account via your cpanel.

It's located down the bottom.

The problem is there is no Warrior Pro anymore.

WEBeShop Administration Area

Click 'Resellers Area' at the bottom

The problem could be if you are not hosting with Host4Profit your commissions are not $10 a month, but $2.50 a month.

I know they had a $30 minimum for sending checks in the US and if out of the US it was $100 - so you may not be getting to your minimum to cut a check.

I do not know however why you don't get a response from them. I always do -- usually within minutes, but then PIPS still uses Host4Profit and I personally do also.

Add their email addresses to your Address books and check your spam folder. Repeat the email every 48 hours until you get a response.

CPanel? Is this if I'm still hosted with them?

I switched to HostGator over a year ago, so I'm just an affiliate of Host4Profit now. Is there any other way to access the reseller account?

Thanks!

Okay, so I logged in and saw 11 months worth of commissions that I haven't been paid, up until and ending July 2010. I forget how much I make just as an affiliate, but take one client times 11 months, and that's what I'm still owed. Also take into account that they don't pay until you reach a $30 threshold, so I may never see that money at all.

Is this right?

As a non-hosting affiliate you make $2.50 per month (vs. $10 if you host) per customer x 11 customers - you are almost there ($25)

Thanks Pat,

I knew it was something around there. Well, I don't see myself earning another cent in commissions, so I'll be stuck at the $25 mark. Does that mean I'll never see that money?

You would need to ask David that, Alan. I have no idea.

I'm resurrecting this thread because I've been asking David for my commissions since July 2010 and can't even get him to answer my emails! He has no problem responding to technical or billing issues, but refuses to correspond about commission.

Host4Profit now owe me over $800 in commission. I still host with them, as do my clients, and they're still paying the full rate of $24.95 per site per month. I've been a reseller since June 2006. H4P are still advertising reseller accounts and $10 per month commissions, but they're not paying them. The last check raised on my account was on April 15 2010 for March commissions, so they can't say they sent the check and it got returned, because there's no record of it on my account.

I would love to know if anyone else is getting paid?

Hi Isobel, They still owe me commissions back from 2008/2009(?) when I was still using them. It's a pretty safe bet that we're never going to see that money. Stone has stopped using Host4Profit as a web host for PPS, and I'm sure there's a good reason for that. That's a lot of money in your case, and I would be pretty upset about it as well.

I am upset, you're right - but I'm not leaving it here David will pay up, if I have to take him to small claims court to get it!

That is what I would recommend doing, Isobel.

Hi All:

Have any of you been paid recently? My last check was 11-15-09, my payment threshold is $10.00 and they owe me $900 or so.

Emailed resellers@host4profit.net, hopeful that I get a) a reply and b) payment!

Please let me know the latest,

Thanks,

Frank

Hi Frank

Nope, nothing at all, no contact, no response to many many emails - and no cheque (or check, in your case )

The miserable *******s have scammed us all, apparently.
