Hello PIPS Members,

I am new to Internet Marketing and PIPS, just joined 1 week ago... As usual, I too am amazed while going through the 30 Days Success book...

Yesterday I subscribed to GetSubscribers.com for 200 leads, since this according to Stone is a very good investment... I am thrilled to find today that my GetResponse Autoresponder has already got filled with all the 200 leads just within a single day, which I didn't expect and as a result the question that is coming into my mind is that "are these leads of any value?"

It would be great to hear some great experience from anyone about GetSubscibers.com leads.
Is buying leads a good option in internet marketing?

GetSubscriber leads have always been good. That is because they are already confirmed or "double-opt-in" leads.

It is surprising that they came all at once - but then I haven't used them in years so I guess this is an improvement, as they used to dribble in consistently but slowly.

Otherwise I have never seen good leads that you buy. Even ones that cost $1-2 a piece!

I am into 'never buying leads again' and belong to a program that uses traffic and profit portals to get leads for free and automatically.

It does involve joining the program, however, which has many different, important SEO and internet marketing tools and resources included that justify the cost.

... I guess nothing good is ever totally free!

I have used GetSubscribers and think their leads are very good but from experience they need to come reasonably slowly to be of any value. This significantly depends on you and not GetSubscribers.

The speed of receiving the leads has to do significantly with the quality of your " ad campaign". If highly targeted and with no hype you will discover the leads will come reasonably slowly but if hyped with words like "money instantly", "free" etc, you will see a rush of worthless leads who on getting to your site or at best on immediately subscribing, will pull out when confronted with the reality.

To a lesser extent however, the speed of fulfilling orders for leads also has to do with the volume of related orders GetSubscribers is pushing into the market at the same time.

Yes in fact some of the IM courses and eBooks that I have been involved in highly recommend it in order to get your start. Now that you have a list of 200 you can ask to swap with another marketer who has a list of 200 and continue to grow your list.

I ran into this question when I first started. I purchase a lot of leads over and over because my upline in my Network Marketing business said that is what I needed to do. I found that mostly it was a waste of money and so that is how I got started in marketing online (trying to find a way to get them if not free than effective) thus I found a program that generates the leads for me (getting about 20-30 a day) with little input on my part.

I bought 200 leads from get subscribers about 2 weeks ago, they came into my getresponse autoresponder within 2 days however now only around 170 of them are still subscribed and i have had no pips signups yet, i'm being patient but so far i'm not convinced these leads are worth it.

The problem is how else do you get subscribers quickly? I'm still building backlinks, doing article marketing and slowly increasing the traffic to my site but it feels like it will be years until i get any real consistent subscribers, not to mention PIPS signups.

Anyone got any advice on how i can get PIPS signups quickly?

Your leads will be receiving your newsletters for 400 days - This is a long time for them to be approached with joining you in some program(s).

the idea is at some point to click a link and join something, however,

The first thing that determines if they are quality leads is they are double-opt in (already confirmed) so you don't lose any that way - 50% can be lost otherwise.

The second thing is that they stay subscribed.

Of course again, the bottom line is whether they buy something as far as 'what is the point'. I understand that.

However, in marketing the idea is to build and sustain momentum over time.

Don't worry about what they do, focus on all the other ways to get more subscribers for free by promoting your PIPS site and building backlinks.

Thanks for the reply, good advice......i'm starting to realise everything about succeeding online seems to come back to building backlinks and finding new ways to get more traffic and the rest will follow.

This is gonna be my focus from now on.

When you begin building backlinks either through article marketing or another means make sure you are linking to your squeeze page as well as your website. For make money type websites such as PIPs you want to put a high focus on building your list. It is the most important thing to do. Your autoresponder series can sell PIPs for you. Your autoresponder will also send visitors to your website and sales page.

I have purchased over a thousand leads and they often buy affiliate products that I broadcast about but that is how I make money with them. Or I broadcast downline builders or advertising or traffic exchange programs that are free ,but they will never join your whole PIPS site. I have my own method for leads to join my pips downlines and be very enthusiastic about it but not through the pips.html generic webpage.
Now if you want to become a super star internet marketer like Mike Filsaime,
Matt Bacak, Mike Gilespie, Janet Legere, you could join GVO and use their MLM
massive autoresponder called eResponder and buy your own leads if you have developed your own effective MLM messages to send them. I am doing that but
unfortunately having to educate the Technical Support staff at GVO how to supply comprehensive support FAQs and knowledge base of which there is almost nothing
available. They have a whole set of videos that explain very littele and hype a lot .
I have had to explain that videos are super for sales conversion but totally are useless
if you want to reliably duplicate a 27 step procedure. What do you do rewind the video? None of the owners are technical and they are all sales people so they do not
understand that in order to be totally reliable in duplicating procedures you need text
or pdf files you can print out to follow along with or to read at your leisure so you know them by heart. I tried to drive this home to them and the President responded to me and I hope he gets it. I have been a testing software engineer and you cannot really test the software without exact documentation to follow. Both Aweber and
GetResponse are far far better at documentation than GVO but you have to buy their
awfully expensive leads like $659 for a 1,000 leads at GetResponse. Not a good buy.
