Day 22! I would suggest you are doing the following wrong: 1) Assuming, or being seduced by the hype, that you can make heaps on money online quickly - in my over two years experience, the only people that can do that have already build large (thousands of subscribers) lists and developed a great relationship with that list, and/or have extensive business relationships to JV with. 2) In your message you don't mention building a List, therefore I'll assume you aren't (like over 40% of people), therefore you aren't building what will become your businesses major asset. People buy from people they know, like and trust. Build a list and build the correct relationship with that list. 3) Do you have all the tools you need - capture page builder, autoresponder, URL and link tracker etc etc.. Or are you just throwing out ads on free ad sites and hoping. 4) Not having a long term 2-5 year view of your business - businesses, online or offline, take time to develop and return a profit. The link in your signature is incorrect. CrazyCash-Flow.info is your domain name not "/info" You have been a member for less than a month. You are only just beginning and you need to have reasonable expectations. Please give things a chance to work. Marketing is about building momentum. Irregardless of what upgrades you do, you need to promote your business aggressively and consistently, whether by free or paid advertising methods. The number one thing is not to get discouraged or be in a rush.

Nice feedback Allen. He is right Apostle. Stop spending money and learn the business first. Just because Stone suggests the upgrades does not mean you have to do it. I can honestly say I have learned so much more from the people in this forum who are actually using this program than from all of the 30 day training. The people in this forum will tell you straight up if certain programs or upgrades are working or not working. I tried to look at your website but your sig file is not operating. I believe its because your forgot to put .info Yup there we go... so its showing no back links yet. Which means you arent doing the things you need to be doing to get traffic to your website. Without traffic, how are you going to get sign ups? Start bookmarking your blog posts every day and submitting articles to the article directories. The more you do, the more traffic you will get. Eventually you will start to get a slow trickle of traffic from the search engines, then that slow trickle will turn into a steady stream. That will not happen though if you don't make it happen. It's the little things that you need to do on a daily basis that will make your business succeed long term. Think marathon not sprint. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Matt |

I am a newbie to this forum, but not to the online business world. You need to give yourself and your business more time than 22 days. Rome wasn't built in a day and your business won't be either. Research, here on this forum and all around the internet. There is a lot of information that can help you learn how to slowly but surely build a strong online business. Good Luck!!

Ask yourself these questions.... 1. How many visitors are you getting to your website per day? 2. How many new subscribers to your list are you gettting everyday? 3. How many backlinks do you have to your website? 4. How many blog posts have you made and what keywords are you targetting in them? Unless the money you are spending so far is creating traffic you will not make any money. |

Very good advice from all above - take it Apostle! If you want to make a fortune over night, you will be better off buying a lotto ticket and wishing! This business is about learning, perseverence and determination and stamina! If you are made out of the above you will succeed! Good Luck and keep your chin up - we have an ad here for shampoo called Pantene! it says........... it wont happen over night - but it will happen! this applies here too! Kym |

Everything that's been said above is extremely good advice. 22 days is extremely early to expect results - but don't worry, you are not the first one to start panicking after such a small amount of time! Many people believe they will make lots of money overnight. What you have to learn is that this is a business like any other - it takes time and effort. If you take your time to learn, focus on one thing at a time, blog regularly, write articles regularly and work to get as many backlinks as you can, you will start to see results. We have all been where you are now - the only thing to do is to keep going! Ros |

After doing this for about a year now, I would suggest focusing on the activities that build links to your website and increase traffic to it. Don't do everything that Stone suggests all at once! You might go broke before you know it.

| Apostlet dear, you sounded very discouraged. Please dont. I'm new in the business too. Like all the things you do in life, take one step at a time. study and understand the nature of the business and activities. As some people always say, 'No Pain No Gain',but be careful dont get yourself hurt so much that you can't bear the consequences. Remember, there's no such things as free lunch in this world. |

Make a plan, stick to it, don't be seduced by all the hype. Work on back-linking, also use an autoresponder to caputure email address to build your list. Write articles and submit to all the e-zine directories (submit to EZA first, as they will not accept articles already on other directories). Work hard and you will make it, Rome wasn't built in a day and neither were Internet Business.

Not too many quick fixes around but Steve Waggenheim did post an article on how to make some quick money. Search the forums for it, it had some excellent advice on how to make money quickly. Hang in there, day 27 isn't any time at all on the net. You will make it if you keep on trying! Write a heap of articles and submit to at least 10 Directories a day. Manual submission is tedious but your articles will get picked up. It's a great way to get back-links too.

here's a dumb question for you, how do you get backlinks? And how do you know when you get them? Also, is it possible to earn money from a squidoo lens and blog or it is an absolute must to have a site? When I do google searches, never does a website come up, it is either an article, lens or blog.

Use an RSS feed. Blogs are great, they have taken over and no a web-site isn't necessary, though with some blog sites you are not allowed to upload more than image/video - Blogspot is one - which is annoying when you want to offer a free report. Havent used squidoo yet but from what I hear, it does appear to work.

I am using blogger and squidoo right now, and I would like to know why everyone is all about wordpress, I have a wordpress blog and I gave up on going through the hundreds of pages just to figure out the small things. In my personal opinion, blogger is more user friendly, and squidoo is once you get the hang of it.. I can pop one of those babies up in no time now.

Do you mean you have a blog on wordpress, or wordpress blog hosted on your own site? What are you using your blog for? Do you think SEO is important to your blog? How many visitors a day find your blog through the search engines? Why is the time it takes you to get one up so important in the big scheme of things? hopefully I will answer your question to your satisfaction, in my opinion, time is money. When I was trying to set up my word press blog, I personally had a hard time understanding the functions, and how to set it up, then you go the directions, which for me, took hours and hours and hours, if not days to go through, and still did not understand them, and since I am a single working mom, time is not plentiful for me. Keep in mind, this is just MY opinion, and I am no expert by any means. I personally found that blogger is much easier to set up, along with a squidoo lens, and I can have those up and running in a short period of time, as opposed to days and days of trying to figure out word press and still not having it set up to my satisfaction. I am relatively new, so keep that in mind, however, my blogger blog is on the first page of google for my keywords, and I am using it in the relationship niche with articles and tips, with a couple of ebooks for sale. I have not made any sales yet, actually, just started getting what I think is real traffic yesterday, so it is too early to tell if I am making a huge mistake using blogger. My whole point is: blogger and squidoo is more user friendly in my personal opinion, and by the way, my squidoo lens has high rankings as well. |

Yes, Blogger is very easy to use... very user friendly. Squidoo is awesome and Google loves lenses and ranks them very well. You can't go wrong with that. The thing with Wordpress that everyone makes a big deal about is the fact that Wordpress is more SEO friendly. If you can spare some cash Jeff "Houdy" can get you setup in no time with a Wordpress blog. He also has tutorials on his website that might be of help to you. His website is WordPress Max|WordPress Guides For The Geek Impaired. If you're comfortable with Blogger then keep using it. I still have a Blogger blog, but switched to Wordpress. Wordpress takes a little getting used to but it's not that bad at all. I now post everything to Wordpress and then post a short summary of that post on my Blogger blog and link to the post on Wordpress. It's up to you what you want to use. But like I said, Wordpress is by far more SEO friendly and to me that is more important. Alan |

thanks Alan, I don't think that I could have put it better myself. I am not any kind of techie type person, so to me simplicity is important. I will attempt word press again in the near future, just not right now. And I will take the tips that you offered. I really appreciate it.

Lots of great info in this thread! I remember when I was just starting my photography business. No one ever heard of me, knew where I was located, what my phone number was, etc. It took a year of getting my name out there, client referrals and so forth to start the ball rolling. I believe the same concept applies here. It will take time and persistence. I'll be rooting for you apostletl! |

One thing you may have to keep in mind in using blogger is longevity. Now I don't know if you intend your blog to be short or long term, but remember Google has a history of changing the rules and leaving people high and dry. Imagine if they decided blogger was to be non-commercial only! Or Adsense only, no affiliate advertising on them. That's the reason I like my own self hosted WP solutions, I have more control over the site layout and appearance, tons of plugin's to make things happen, and greater security long term. WP *can* be difficult. I took a course for only $10 a month, and had my first basic site up in two hours, learned heaps (hell, everything's easy when you know how to do it <grin>) then moved quickly on to SEO optimised niche sites with AdSense and affiliate offers. If you're happy about long term security, you're getting enough traffic, and making enough sales, stick with it. As they say "If it's not broken, don't fix it" Cheers, AllanJames (the StartBusinessMentor)

Apostlet, I couldn't get to your site through your link. Don't forget social networking too. Join myspace.com, facebook.com and twitter.com and add friends daily. (don't need to spend all day on them) But they do add to your list and it's free advertisement! (make sure you follow the rules for links) And remember you're still rolling the ball uphill. This is where all the hard work is. If you're building a good foundation, eventually you'll reach the peak of the hill and you'll start rolling it downhill, where it will be a lot easier. Check out the video of Zig Ziglar "Priming The Pump", on U-Tube, follow his advice and ...don't give up. It's only about 5 minutes long, but of excellant value. |

I would try and just focus on one thing, one website, one traffic technique, and learn one thing every week for an hour a day. When you are starting to see traffic and conversions then move on to another technique etc. At least this way you are putting your efforts towards the one goal and learning as you go along. All the best Leanne |

It is important to note that an online business follows very much the same principles as an offline business. Invest your time in this forum can bring more returns than invest more money in the upgrades. I suggests that you focus your time and energy into buliding backlines to your website. This forum is a good place to start.

Be persistent...never, never, never give up. Be patient and believe that you will achieve your goals. As previously mentioned, 22 days is not a long time. Like most things, there is a learning curve. The learning curve for Internet Marketing can be very large if you lose focus and get distracted by the many new offers and the next best thing. You can reduce that learning curve by focusing on traffic and list builiding techniques. When you feel comfortable there, start learning about tracking and testing. Set weekly goals with daily milestones to achieve. Write them down and make sure they are realistic and achievable for your current situation. They should make you stretch, but not break. Celebrate little victories. Fix the link in your signature IMMEDIATELY!! If you focus on learning the fundamentals and providing value, the sales will come. Keep the faith! |

Hi Apostletl, I had the same problem as you when I started with PIPS. You don't have to buy everything as Stone said. You need to calm, patient and the main thing to me is you must understand what are you doing and it will take time. Good luck to you KT52 |

Hi all. I think if u want to get traffic to your site, u can use a lot of free method link site building by blogging and get backlinks. If u really have budget to buy those leads, it's up to u. Keep in mind that those leads u bought is targeted prospect but it's not 100% they will by something from u.

hi all I had the same bewilderness as apostletl. I had joined a few months ago and yet not made a single sale through PIPS system. Only my SFI network grew a bit over time through Eyeearn focus. I found the advice posted here are quite helpful. I will try to digest and apply them gradually. Hope after few months I will ask different question like "how can I do better?" instead of "why I got no result/what am i doing wrong?" warmest regards |

I think the bigger question here is, "how can you build and grow your business?" It takes a continual and gradual effort. Keep working at it day by day. The most important thing you can do for yourself is learn, learn and learn some more. It takes months and months to build your business the proper way. Buying traffic and leads is only temporary, and as it was mentioned, doesn't guarantee you'll make a sale. Look towards the long-term, not the short term. Alan

I have spent more than three months with PIPS and No sale. I also have spent hundreds on solo ads, upgrades, TE, leads but without success. Just a few days ago, i came across PipsPowerGroup and I decided to give them a try. I just realized that my basics were completely wrong. I am on Step 5/8 of their beginners level. You need to buid your foundation and that is the most important thing for newbies. You can try them if you like. Just suggesting Lian

Write articles. After 1000 hours of time spent learning and doing IM then ask the same question again. Zirkamer |

All great advice here... I can relate with a lot of the things I have tried, but now I realize I didn't give it the chance. A change in my mindset was needed, and here is why... I know a brick and mortar business takes time to start bringing in traffic and sales when it first opens. A restaurant or retail store doesn't just open the doors and start banking big checks right away. Sometimes they spend months marketing with nothing to show, or maybe they don't always do the right activities to bring in the business. However, I never viewed the internet the same way. I was seduced into thinking a lot of people were setting up shop and *poof*, making money hand over fist overnight...after all, there's a lot of people selling us programs out there making those claims. Not until I started the PIPs sight and realize the commitment that was going to be made if I was going to make it work did a light click on and I said, "hey, this internet thing could be a business...not just a hobby." It helps to approach with that mindset...this is a business, just like any other business, and you may operate in the red in the beginning. We expect the internet to bring instant fortune, but it takes time and the right kind of efforts. Hang in there....read all you can on this forum, ask questions, adjust your plan accordingly, and spend your money wisely...maybe focus on the free promotions, articles, blogs, backlinks, even list building... Good luck! |

I think the reason for this is that the poster put this in the main forum and people were responding. Then a moderator sent the thread to this forum. They do this sometimes when there is a PIPS 'newbie on the loose'. It is a shame people spent their time and really gave some good information to this guy who never came back to read it and/or has already dropped out of PIPS - |
