Howdy, I have been getting this question from lotsa people late, including friends, family and prospects. Give me ideas on how would you answer it? Hoping to find a good answer that helps everyone... "It may take months or years to get your PIPS business up and running. During this time, you will have to spill out cash from your own pocket to sustain the site and it could go up to hundreds and thousands of dollars. How do you justify it? Is it worth it at all?" To be or not to be... Thats the question! |

It's just like a business, I'll say. Although it's done online, if you don't want to put in the effort to grow the business but want the profits, then it will better to get an ordinary job. That's what I'll say to my friends usually. Then they will think for a while before responding. Hope this helps. JTYS |

Hi I don't think it's at all necessary to spend that much money. Most people will tell you that the best and most effective forms of marketing are article marketing, blogging - and doing what you can to get as many backlinks as possible. All of these are free (although you will need to pay if you use an automatic article submitter). The hosting of your website is paid for once you have 3 PIPS sign-ups, which in my case was a few months. You don't have to spend any more than around $100 per month - and some people start off with less than that. You can start earning within a few months, which will reduce this. After that, you might break even for a while - and then it will become profit. Compared to a traditional business, this is a very small outlay. All you need to do is set yourself an affordable budget and keep within it. You don't have to pay for expensive advertising. Asking questions in forums like this one will save you from wasting money on systems that don't work. I hope this helps! Ros |

It certainly does not have to take years. Had I done twice the work I would be twice as far ahead. It's really up to you how long it will take. Even a large number of backlinks could take only a few moths if you work hard at it. Some people write 5 articles a day and use submission services that do not limit the number of articles you submit a month. Commenting on 10 blogs a day will build backlinks quickly especially if they are high PR blogs. As far as the cost goes, you will need to spend more than the bare minimum to grow a big business but you do not have to at first. Each PIPs opportunity that you promote you will have to be a paid member to profit from. The key is to make more than you spend. Personally I am up to spending around $200. a month but I make more than that. I know people who spend a couple thousand a month but they make 10 times that and some a lot more. One person I had the opportunity to talk with on the phone a few days ago spends $5000. -$7000. a month but he made over 2million last year. My wife use to ask me how much I will make off from work she has watched me do that day. I tell her nothing right now. It use to upset her watching me work and thinking I am not profiting. But I have explained that what I do today is building a better tomorrow. As time has gone on she is seeing the benefits and a cash return. So, when I spent a large sum on something a few days ago it didn't bother her. That is because I walked her through what I was doing and what the outcome will be. I have done the same with blogging and article writing and all the others things I do to build backlinks. I found if she (and some friends) understand why I am doing something it relieves her fears and questions. As for skeptics, I don't worry about them. As time goes by and they see money coming in, even an $8.00 check from SFI as I once experienced, they start to change their mind. |

Success is not always dependent on what you spend. I know people who have spent a lot of money on a monthly basis and have built big businesses, and some who have spent basically nothing and have built big businesses. The key, I found is that if you are passionate about something, and you find a niche for it; the possibilities are limitless to what you can achieve. Keep in mind though that it still does not come overnight, like some would have you believe. To build a solid base is paramount, to build a solid base of prospective customers is equally paramount; point being, people are not for the most part illiterate, they can usually tell when they are being taken advantage of. Flood them with relevant information GIVE them what they need, just be your self, talk about "your" success, not the success that others say that they have had; and you will have customers for life. Your true passion or lack of it will come out in the words that you use to your customers. I think this quote from the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche sums up what I have just written. “When we talk in company we lose our unique tone of voice, and this leads us to make statements which in no way correspond to our real thoughts.” Good Luck Frank Tello |

Hi Ben, Like the others said it doesn't have to take long if concentrate and work hard to build your business, it also doesn't have to cost hundreds of dollars. Let you family know and understand that this is a business and you know what your are getting yourself into. Let them know you set yourself a budget and you will not spend more than you plan. Also let them know that it worth it. After doing all this hard work and spending some money, you will make money from your online business, you will be able to quit your day job and be financially free. I say it worth it! |

Straight up it sounds like these people (a) do not have a clue what they are saying (b) are dream stealers, aka naysayers who are: 1. jealous that you are doing something they wouldn't have the nerve to try. 2. hate that they are trapped in a dead-end job. What can I say, pray for them and keep doing what you are doing. Without exception the people I know of who have made a go of internet marketing are not the ones that buy every gimmick, but are ones who work hard all the time, day after day and don't spend much money. ...just like real life. |
