Hi,
I joined Maximum Paid Surveys and here's my point of view for you... It might not work for you. Why? Because you are in Malaysia. I live in Singapore and most of the surveys are targetted at US, UK, etc. Most of the surveys aren't targetted at Asia - at least not the ones that I've received. There's a way around that which I think would work but haven't tested it due to my time constraints. But it's rather blackhat-ish (I'm not too sure if it is) and I really shouldn't reveal how to do that =D Asher |

What can you lose when a program is FREE TO JOIN?
There are actually two free ways to earn with this. Just use your ClickBank ID and you can get some commissions. (free) Or join their affiliate program and use the ClickBank ID for the username and make more commissions. (free). I don't think it would require a lot of thought or make any difference what country you are in. This is the world wide web and people are not going to stop and ask what country you are in before they join a program. *See my next post in this thread - |

Um, I have to disagree here.
MaximumPaidSurveys is not free... I don't know where you get your information. You have to pay to join. chngoi wasn't asking about being an affiliate for it, he was asking about joining MPS - and to join means you have to pay for it. I'm already a member of MaximumPaidSurveys and alot of the emails that they send me to fill in requires me to be a citizen of US. I get a lot of "This Offer Is Not Valid In Your Area" and quite a significant amount of surveys that require me to fill in a Social Security number. Which I don't have because I'm not an American citizen. Since chngoi is from Malaysia and it's pretty close to Singapore, I believe he'll have the same "This Offer Is Not Valid In Your Area" kind of messages. Then again, it's not my dollars. I'm just telling my experience with it. Asher |

Asher is right, MPS is mostly targeted for US citizens and if you are out of the US you won't gain from it.
I didn't join just because of this reason, and it is a shame, this is a really good program. However, if you want to take online surveys for extra income there are many other you can join, just check if it available in your area, after all this is your money. Tanny |

This is something that I missed out, you mean this survey form not really for global market? as what Asher claimed that we need to be a certain country citizen in order to be qualified to take part in their survey. if that is truth, the sales letter should state this terms and condition clear. the reason I post this tread is because I need to pay to join this business, that is why I need more information before I jump into it.

Hi chngoi,
MaximumPaidSurveys does have surveys that non-US citizens can take part in but it's not as much as the US citizens. They did say something like that on their sales letter (can't remember where) but the rate of receiving a lot of survey requests that you can fill in to make money isn't high enough in my opinion. But it's not all bad - since MaximumPaidSurveys is a one-time-pay and lifetime membership (which is why I joined), I figured I might as well give it a shot. It's up to you if you want to try it though chngoi. Asher |

I don't know how that happened Alan, because the form I saw (for the free options) it asks you to use your ClickBank ID for the username.
Someone apparently didn't follow directions - interesting - you might get their commissions? I would ask MPS directly about this. However, path of least resistance - get another ClickBank account - I had two for a long time - I am sorry Chngoi - I didn't realize you meant doing the surveys which would be the third option with this program. Now when I re-read what you wrote, I see you were not asking about the affiliate program options. |

What I mean is someone is already using the user ID that I want to use, which is my Clickbank ID. When I try to sign up it says that the user name is already being used and won't let me sign up. I guess I'll just have to get another Clickbank ID or just not sign up for MPS. Alan | |

Most of these survey companies are targeting US or maybe Europe market. So, perhaps you want to join those that are free and ask them for the volume of the surveys needed for Asia market.
Some of these survey companies are helpful and will let you know whether they are suitable for you or not. JTYS |

I am a member of MPS and if you login the survey database is split into sections:
- United States - Canada - Australia - Europe - Other Countries For US citizens there are 8 pages of survey companies (about 40 per page), for Canada there are 6 pages, Australia 6 pages, Europe 6 pages and Other Countries 5 pages. So you don't have to be a US citizen, but there will be fewer survey opportunities for other countries, especially non English speaking countries. I dabbled with paid surveys years ago and I did get a fair number of survey invites (from companies in the MPS database). I am in the UK, which proves that it is not restricted to US citizens. It is not something I do anymore as I make more money from internet marketing than I would from doing surveys, but I thought it was worth mentioning this. Cheers, Suzanne |

The answer to this then is to merely join some programs that either do not matter what country you are from, or that include your country and add that to your site in place of the program you can't take advantage of.
It is unfortunate and we are sorry, but we do not control many things on the internet. We can only do the best we can. Maybe this is even an opportunity for an entrepreneur to start their own program? "Find a need and fill it". |
