Hi, my name is Ron and I have been A pips member since 5-17- 10. this is my first post to the forum. I have been doing everything I can afford to do trying to promote my pips website. after 1 and a half months I have 0 opt-in leads on my get response now autoresponder account and no sales. is this normal or am i missing something. I have w.p. installed, am writing articles and submitting those articles to the top 10 -25 directories and have been using traffic swarm and using adminders guaranteed visitors to no avail. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. I also keep reading about cloaking your affiliate link. How important is this and how do i go about doing this? thank you, Ron

Hi Ron - sounds like you are doing what you need to do. Assuming you have completed the training and took advantage of your bonuses like the videos, etc. and the resources in your 'marketing' section of the back office.

Less than two months is not a long time when you are developing a new business. I would say just keep doing the blogs and articles and etc., and learning about SEO and you are on your way.

Marketing is about building and sustaining momentum over time so again just keep it up and you will eventually see results.

In the bonuses is the Web Army Knife and it has a link cloaker. However the links on your website are already cloaked behind your PIPS ID. If you want to cloak individual links you are using in the traffic exchanges etc., the easiest way is with a free 'on the fly' program like tinyurl.com.

Try many different approaches until you find what works for you. In other words, don't put all your eggs in one basket. Every day I read and learn and research and try a new tactic to promote my sites using suggestions from other people in forums such as this one. I apply what I learn from the PIPS guide, and also what I learn from constantly crawling the web. I also try not to spend a lot of money on any methods until I see some results. I am also a newbie so my best advice is to hang in there!

Hi Ron...

I agree. Don't give up what you are doing. The only thing I can suggest, that is free, is change your keywords and your website. They are the basic PIPS website, the one that everyone gets.

I changed mine about 4 months ago, I finally made page #1 (ranked 3) on Yahoo for one of my keywords and page 2 (ranked 11) on Google for a different keyword. I am starting to see more traffic, but the summer months are slow.

It can be done. Just keep at it.
