Default Ezine advertising?

Hey there,

Just looking for abit of feedback really on ezine advertising, i.e. if you have done it, would you recommend that I do it, even though my site has only been up and running for about a week now, I understand the methods potential but would just like someone to reassure me.

Thank you

Being new I would not pay to advertise in ezines. But, you can find a lot of ezines where you can advertise for free. One place you can use for free ads is Solo-Ads (Google them).

Ezine advertising like most online marketing requires some learned skills and being new there are many things you don't know about yet. Actually having been around a while there are a lot of things I have to learn. I do think ezine advertising can work if you first take the time to learn how to do it correctly. Give yourself a little while and read up on it and learn the ins and outs then give it a shot.

Another thing you will want to do is to learn how to track your advertising so you know what ads are being clicked on and the ones that are not. That will help you narrow down the most affective ads so you will get the most out of your advertising. This will help you save both time and money.

Once you get the general idea down I would start doing it. It'll be trial and error for a while but it can pay off.

Hi there,

I agree that if you are just starting out, it's okay to test the ezine solo ad option out - I certainly did. But I wouldn't start there either because it's easy to lose money when you're at this early point in the game. It does bring you more traffic and you may get some hits, but the best place to start in my mind is with blogging and article writing, once you get there in the 30-days.

You can become a part of blog communities eventually, and ask others to post your ads or articles to their list if you do the same or give them some kind of benefit in return. That being said, it doesn't hurt to try, and if you do, I heard it's best to join that directory of ezines.

Good luck!

Liane
