The ContactThem Network
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hi All,
I received this unbelievable Email from ww contact them etc. with the following information: We see that your traffic rank is 126002
and your link popularity is 409.
Then they offer this (again unbelievable) With that kind of traffic, we will pay you up to $4,800/month to advertise our links on your website.
Has anybody else heard about this and is it possible or is it a scam. I am very sceptical now and find it hard to believe. Secondly I have yet to learn how to put links on my website.
Hope you can help me.

Ude

Hi, I have reported them for spam several times. It got so bad I was getting 15 of those emails a day. Now they have stopped after a couple months. Each email I received from different members said the exact same things as your email did. It only took one look at their website to see the kind of junk marketing they do. I would not get involved with them at all because they are not canspam (or whatever that is) compliant. I would not get involved with any program that is not 100% legitimate especially when dealing with email.

Hello:

I received it a few months ago, so my memory of the details are a bit foggy, but I did click through the links because I questioned it's legitimacy.

If I remember correctly, it is basically an affiliate program based on advertising. The way you get paid that "up to $4,800/month" is through commissions you earn when others join the advertising network.

The "catch" is that you have to market it like everything else. You have to advertise, promote and sign up new affiliates or partners or whatever that program callsthem. So the "up to $4,800" for you might end up being $20/month.

I know it seems spammy and scammy the way it comes across, but I kind of wonder of it is "just another" marketing gimmick.

Judging by the response of other Warriors here, you might be better off avoiding that program.

I received those emails a year ago. They stopped, and then just recently I started receiving them again. I checked into them from the beginning. Take the advice you already got and stay far away. Very spammy, indeed.

Thank You all for the advise, I know I am only new at all this, but even I thought $4000 a month was too good to be true.
Thanks again
