Do you "Like" me?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Hey Folks,

I just got around to creating a Facebook Fan Page for my website. If you're on Facebook and don't yet "Like" me, I suggest doing so as I provide updates to my blog (worth reading), updates from Twitter (useful links, quotes, etc.) and other advice, quotes and ramblings.

You could probably learn a thing or two, and networking is great for business and exposure.

Here's the link: Welcome to Facebook.

Also, I would love any feedback, comments, etc. as this is my first attempt at a Fan Page.

If you "like" it or have found my tips and advice helpful, feel free to leave a post on the page. I'd appreciate it!

Thanks! And, if you have your own Fan Page that I'm not yet following, feel free to post it here so I can "like" you too.

Take Care,

Alan

I liked you too and love your page.* Sent you a friend request.

You go, Alan!

*please don't make me sign up for any more stuff (newsletters). I have so many tons of things to read that I am already overwhelmed and do nothing but 'archive' everything. I am soooo bad.

Nice Alan, i'm a member .

I would hide the signup form until you get a "Like" out of the visitor but tell them that if they "like" the page they can have something for free. Then when they have "Liked" it present them with the form. That way there already clicking, they want your stuff so there going to have more chance in logging their details in.

Heres the code

<fb:fbml version="1.1">
<fb:visible-to-connection>
Fans will see this content.
<fb:else>Non-fans will see this content.</fb:else>
</fb:visible-to-connection>
</fb:fbml>

Thanks, Sam!

Wow... that's a great tip! I didn't even know you could do that. So, this code would be placed on the Welcome tab, and the newsletter form would be placed between the "visible" tags along with any other text, right?

This could definitely come in handy, and I like your suggestion. Thanks for your help, Sam!

P.S. Let me know when you have another guest post ready.

I was number 25, so hope that excites you. I am making a fan page right now for myself, and I will post it here in a day or two.

Have a great day.

I think a lot of people do not realise that you can actually add an auto responder onto your Facebook page. I created a page the other day about traffic generation and it has taken off quite well. So I thought I may as well put a aweber form on there and offered a traffic course that I am still writing as an incentive.
Had some good feedback already.

I will follow your page Alan. Here is mine Welcome to Facebook

Hey Andy,

Thanks for the follow. I put an autoresponder form on the Welcome page of my page as well.

I'm now a fan of your page and looks like it's going great for you. Congrats!

Cheers,

Alan
