promoting the programs

At what point do you think its a good idea to stop focusing only on promoting the Pips site to spend more time on the programs being promoted in the Pips site? Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do first?
Regards
Steve

The whole idea of PIPS is to do the process one time to advertise all the programs with one effort.

It also works for 'back-end' type sales where joining or being attracted to one program can lead to another.

For people who aren't ready for the whole package they can join just one or two - which is more evident from your website if not the application/sales page.

With that said, however, there is nothing to stop you from promoting the individual programs on their own as well. Certainly this can still lead to a back-end offer to join the others or PIPS.

It is important to at least login to each of them and get an overview of what they are about - if for nothing else than writing about them you will have some points to elaborate on.

It would be a good idea to promote the whole site itself because when someone does not like one program and closes it, they come back to your site and have the option to see other programs.

The secret here is to get targeted traffic and visitors each day and do this consistently.

It seems tempting to want to start/keep promoting some individual programs such as SFI since it appears easier to convince prospects to sign up for but if you choose this route, it should be only a tiny fraction of your time that you should spend on this and eventually still lure your prospects to PIPS which is the overall picture and where you can eventually make more money.

The other route is promoting PIPS directly and apparently this will eventually be more beneficial to you since all your marketing efforts is concentrated on one webpage/site while it produces results in many different directions/programs.

The problem really is not so much the route you choose to take but rather an issue of getting massive traffic on a consistent basis to your site/sales page. It is a game of numbers. Once this can be achieved, no doubt, a certain percentage of your visitors, which will become higher as your conversion rate becomes higher, will sign up for the PIPS program.

You must have heard that on average, you require about 500 unique visitors on a consistent daily basis visiting your site, to begin making consistent sales.

The emphasis therefore should be on how to get that much visitors to your website daily and consistently.

This is best achieved through taking consistent and concerted efforts across a wide range of traffic generating strategies/techniques and need some time for the fruits of such effort to germinate.

The programs can be promoted individually. If you do blogging, banners from the different programs can be inserted including that of the PIPS site. I use different platforms to promote the programs. When writing articles and posting them on your own blog and some article directories, you can include text links depending on which program is relevant.

The official (Stone Evans) theory is promote your PIPS business ONLY (when you are new) because this promotes ALL the programs with ONE EFFORT.

After you have your bearings, complete the training and have implemented lots of stuff to promote your PIPS business, THEN if you ALSO wish to promote the other programs individually, that is your option.

Of course other people have their opinion, however for me I will follow the one who has proven success wherever I can.

Thanks Patricia, as always the voice of reason. I kind of came to that conclusion myself and am putting all my efforts into promoting Pips and learning SEO and traffic building techniques.

This was indeed a question that I was mulling over and I'm glad you had answered it here. Thx.
