Copyright & Monetize Your Articles

Hi all,

I just thought I would share this find with you, although some of you may already know of it.

This is a free site which lets you set up a copyright tag with copyright permisions. When someone clicks on it, they are shown a selection box with different options. You can set these options for someone to pay you to use your article. It's best explained on the site, but my tag is below to give you an idea of what I am trying to say

It might be a nice way to pull in some extra profit from the articles. As I noticed this website accept not only articles but also artworks sound recordings etc. It might be worth to give it a try.

Wow! Thanks for the link. I bookmarked it. A really good idea for making a few bucks on the side.

One could use that in combination with the copyscape service. Use copyscape to keep tabs on people not "authorized" to reproduce it.

Thank you for the website. I am new to copyrighting. One question - how are penalties against copyright violators enforced across borders?

This will vary from country to country. There are two conventions that deal with International Copyright protection. When you register with the U.S. Copyright Office, your work is not automatically protected in every country.

You're welcome. On the U.S. Copyright website is also a set of FAQs. Very good information about how long a copyright lasts as well as the actual Copyright Law.
