Hello fellow PIPSTER's Since I started my PIPS Web page I've waded the net for a huge amount of information related to marketing for the web. I recognized early that one of the most effective strategies is the marketing of niche related articles and I have crawled a lot to find stuff about this topic... and of course "the right way to do this". But there are many different opinions out there of what is really the best solution. Therefore I'd like to know what is the best experience and practices from the members of the warrior forum. Here is some questions I've made related to this subject and I'm sure someone inside here can give me and other members valuable tips and recommendations. Let's say that I have decided for a particular niche and a suitable product. Then I started to write some articles that are optimized for related search. The first step is to add the first unique article on ezinearticles.com, and the next is to submit the same article to several other directories. 1) Shall I rewrite the article so it will not be a duplicate of the first one? If I put the same unique article on another article directory, can that duplicate destroy the effect in ezinearticles? 2) If I should rewrite the article for another directory, how much in percent do I have to rewrite it? 3) If I decide to put the article in 25 directories, shall I rewrite 25 times? If I have 1 article, that means 25 rewritten articles and 3 articles means 75. That is really a lot of work. If I optimize them for the search engines too, that makes it a tremendous amount of work. 4) Can I use an article spinner to do the job? I read from some experts out there that is not good to use such software/services because the article itself will lose some effect and be hurted instead. Some other recommend to use them. What is right? 4) For the effect of submitting articles, how many article directories is it recommended that I submit to? 5) Can I have those articles (the submitted articles) on my website too, for example my blog? And if so, do I have to rewrite them too? Hope all questions is clearly and crisply. Appreciate your answers! Ragnhild |

Hi Ragnhild Article marketing is a great way to grow your business. My first step is to put a unique article on my site, so that I have totally unique content on it that is nowhere else on the web. I then rewrite that article and use SubmitYourArticle.com - they have a Leverage System which submits variations of your article to many directories including EzineArticles and other high ranking directories. They cost about $37 a month and you can submit 8 articles a month. This saves you rewriting articles all the time. You need to change an article by a minimum of 30% Be careful of article spinners - often the articles come out making no sense at all. I personally don't put articles that I have submitted to the directories on my site. I hope this helps. Cheers for now Cyn |

Hello Ragnhild, There are a couple of ways to look at this... First: submitting one article to many directories. - Sometimes you just don't want to change up a good or great article so you submit this very well written article to many directories in hopes of getting clicks on your back link. This method works because the copy write is so good that you are not worried about whether or not Google indexes every submission. This brings me to my next point: Taking an article and changing it up to at least 30% as suggested by Cyn. Sure it's going to take some extra time to do but it is well worth it. In the long run this method will be what you want to go with because of the back links it will bring your website. Changing the article up means Google will index each submission because it will see them as unique. Unique is good, you will be rewarded in the search engines using this method. What I used to do was post an article on my blog twice a week, then submit that article using the leverage service at SYA. It seemed to work pretty well as my traffic stats seemed to increase at a slow but steady rate. (2 articles a week) My method now is one of total uniqueness. I never post the same article on my website that I submit to the directories. Here's what I do and this is what works for me. I have two blogs and submit one unique article to each blog every day M-F. Then I write another article to submit to the directories every day M-F. Two of those articles a week go through SYA and the other 3 go straight to EzineArticles. (15 articles a week) This new method has kept me quite busy but I am really seeing the results as I have traffic coming at me in several directions. Another thing I want to point out is the importance of keyword research in article marketing. Wordtracker is a great service for keyword research but the Google adwords keyword tool is a good free tool to use. Look for long tail keywords that get little daily searches and little competition, jot those keywords down until you have a list of about 50-100. Then focus all your article writing around those keywords. This should keep you busy for awhile. Just remember, unique fresh content will be rewarded. Let me know if you have any more ?'s Best, Matt |
