Denise, Welcome to the forum! Make sure you come in and post everyday and your questions will be answered. Their is so much to learn in here. If you are not very good at writing ads... Take a look at some that you think are very good or are performing well for others. Then, take bits and pieces of the ads you really like and combine them to come up with your own. You have to try multiple ads to see which work for you and then really push and promote the ads that bring you the most success. Some work, some do not. Just keep at it until you find what works best for you. Follow what successful marketers do and then apply those to your own business and you will start to see results. Doug |

My advice is look at your work limit then write about 10x the limit then boil out the rubbish bits and you should have an add that will nail it |

Hi Denise, Welcome to the forum. Another way to help is to keep a "swipe" file. Every time you see a great headline or ad copy it into your swipe file. Use the swipe file for inspiration to help you come up with your own ads. Stone also has some example ads throughout the 30 days to Success. You can use these word for word but I always think it is better to stand out and be a bit different. Cheers, Suzanne |

As a publisher of a newsletter I would like to give you a couple of hints. Using the canned ads that are prepared for you has been overused - I use to get so many of the same ad that it just does not bring that many hits - Nothing can replace putting your own personality into the ad. I have found that long ads just do not cut it - people are very busy and do not read the long ads. Change your subject line in the canned ads - once it has been seen so many times, people just pass it by. Too much emphasis is put on tracking the ads - you are building a business - getting your name out there - that is what is important - if the places you post your ad is archived on the internet, your name will get out there. Each time you get your name out there puts you in the search engines - when someone checks you out - every time you are listed will help you out. |
