I arrived here by invite from Stone, I have just got involved with internet marketing after some bad results with other internet ideas and thought well I'll give this one last push and I'm glad I did .

Ive enjoyed setting up a site as I had no previous experiance and I look forward to setteling into a comfortable retirement

I enjoy 1960s soul music and I live in France I have been here 5 years and enjoy the life style
Its like been back in the 60s I very rarely lock my car or the front door ,How often could you do that in this world today

I had a 15 pce soul band in the UK and did a lot of early soul but we kinda ended up like the Commitments

Boy could we rock with a 5 pce brass section and three girl backing singers and male front man . I miss the band dearly as in France the musicians are far and wide and I ended up in a pop band . But just found a great blues guy so I will give that a go I'll keep you posted

Hi This is all very new to me, I have been trying to find a way to make money on the internet now for a year or so. not quite there yet. so this time i am trying to do everything I am told. ( or surgested to do ) so i have spent a bit of money. I beleive this is going to work for me. The learning takes time for me as we only have dialup here. I live in quite remote country in new zealand. I love being outside with my horses, but i need to make money somehow. i can't just go to work in town that is an hour and a half away.

I joined the Warrior Forum some time ago and then got distracted with life.

My expertise is in the animal kingdom and I am an author and the publisher of an animal related website that has been online since 1995 and on its own domain since 1997.

Unfortunately, my web person then discouraged ecommerce and today I am attempting to correct that oversight.

My training for blog stuff has been with Yaro Starak and my blog does bring in some passive income thanks to his guidance.

At the moment I am getting ready to release my first ebook. I came into the forum again after I found my designer left me in the lurch (and if you have a good ebook designer I am looking for one now).

I contracted another warrior to do the minisite and am very pleased at how fast he is and how reasonable.

There are a couple of other products I have in mind. For the first one I am using clickbank and a standalone domain but image that I will be using subdomains for others.

I've also been under tutilage of Ed Dale but am a little slow due to life getting in the way but slow and steady tends to win the ract--doesn't it.

My goal is to bring in a minimum of $2,000 every month--it may be modest but I am at 10% now so I think it is realistic.

Here is hoping I get more amazing results and get to know more of you as I pop in now and again.

I live in a rural area in the mountains of Southern California where Internet access is marginal at best.

I enjoy the outdoors, nature, pets, hiking, kayaking, and blogging.

I tend to be active, then lurk, then disappear, then come back again.

This is my first post. I probably have no business being up this late, but this seems to be the time I get most of my traffic at my site as well I am writing from Huntsville, Alabama - the Rocket City. I have been a PIPs member for about two months and I am enjoying getting my business up and running.

A little about me - I have been a marketing prof for about 20 years. I decided to try my hand at internet marketing (and quickly found out that much of what I know about traditional marketing would not help me with the learning curve of internet-based knowledge I would need) as a result of budget cuts at the University where I was employed. I was the director of a successful program that was deemed a "non-essential" academic program and consequently lost my funding and my job. I decided that at my age I was tired of being dependent upon someone else for my livelihood. So here I am.

I have really enjoyed getting my blog up and running. I would like to invite you all to read my post from yesterday entitled "The $71.90 Franchise". The article was inspired by an email that Stone sent (which was one of the 400 days) that struck me as a very interesting concept. I first started with this forum via PIPS in spring 2004. I was a very active member here for 2 full years during which time I did achieve some measure of online success with PIPS and the myriad (far too many) of business opportunities I was involved in.

In 2006 I needed to stop Internet marketing due to personal circumstances and at that time I had no idea I would ever return. I regret cancelling my website because I feel like 2 years of work went down the drain with it.

Yet I am happy for a fresh (re)start and I am pleased to join you all again. I would hope I am wiser now than I was then!

Interestingly...I see some familiar types of questions and threat titles so some things never change even if some of the faces are new!

using twitter and blogs are alien to me and I think I am missing something there . I have gone through the 30 day help but like mose people I wanted to get going quickly so I think I will start reading it again. Still a bit uneasy about having to spend more dwindling cash on up dating etc . Tried add sense had 10,000 basic treatment and its made no difference at all, still waiting on my first sale or sponser GDI seem to want me to upgrade all the time and I did that the first week but I still get messages that say this is not available to to the free setup will keep trying but would love help and any ideas. The way forward seems to be have a million e mail addresses

Welcome to the PIPS group. Hang in there! We have all felt overwhelmed, just the way you are feeling right now.

Whether or not you do all of the upgrades recommended in the 30 Days training guide, it can still be a long process of learning, practicing, testing and perseverence before you start earning a good income. So, you do not have to upgrade if your expenses do not allow it comfortably.

One thing I do recommend is taking the plunge and getting involved with blogging and social networking (like Twitter). They can be difficult at first, but they do get easier, and believe me, the more you learn, the more your confidence increases and then you will be able to do many more beneficial things to advance your business effectively.

Hi, Patricia:

That is such a good point about the PIPS program. That is something I recognized very early when I first joined:

There are certain basics of Internet Marketing that apply no matter what products, services or programs you choose to market, and when it comes down to the basics, a newbie can find few, if any, better training and support programs than PIPS.

There is no point in jumping from program to program looking for the magic bullet. Only time, training and experience will lead a person to success, so why not stick with PIPS and focus on developing the business basics?

I will offer the opinion, though, that newbies also need to be cautious about upgrading too many things, too quickly, as recommended by the 30 Days to Success training guide. Slow and steady wins the race, despite a newbie's enthusiasm.

Also, the learning process can be greatly enhanced by finding and following a group of experienced, qualified mentors.

My name is Ron, I've been working on a home based internet business since 2001! I haven't had much success with any of the ventures that I've tried. And believe me I've tried a bunch! I'm hoping that PIPS will change all that!

I've never had a site before that went through and showed me how to do each step - that was pretty cool! Actually, I'm still working on the 30 days training but I'm a pretty fast reader and have already read through the whole thing. I think I will go back through and re-read the whole training program again and make sure I didn't miss anything!
