My story at the moment? I'm still working to learn how to make a decent income online, but my offline business (freelance writing) has been interfering of late! lol

Several months ago, a couple of my primary clients increased the amount and frequency of material I write for them and I've been working on back-to-back projects since. I used to have about a month's break between each main project. Not anymore!

The pay is great, but it is preventing me from adequately focusing on my Internet business. In the New Year, I hope to get used to the new publishing schedules and settle into a routine that will include more time for Internet Marketing.

The lesson? Everything we do involves choices based on our goals and desired outcomes. When our goals are clear, the choices are easier. However, life is all about change, so we need to be prepared to roll with the changes, look for the good in each change, and learn to make the best of it.

I have created a photography campaign in efforts to raise awareness about serious world issues (aids, poverty, etc) through band promotional photography and am looking to take this campaign to the next level!

Hi All, I am Thomas McLaughlin a California native stuck in South Dakota. I am a production supervisor in a international manufacturing company with over 17,000 employees (talk about a rat race). I live with my wife and have two children left at home. What we love to do most as a family is attend San Diego Chargers games and take every opportunity to do so.
I am about a month and a half into the PIPS program and still working through the 30 days to success. I started out as an artist. Before the Internet, I had also become a published author, with four nonfiction books in print.

To communicate with others in the mid-1990s, I created a website. In fact, I was one of the first 50 people (see the original webring, Open Pages) to post notes from my daily life -- today, called blogs -- and my websites grew from there.

Basically, I created individual websites to talk about each of my interests as people asked enough questions to make a site worthwhile. ("Worthwhile" was defined as: Answered questions and saved me the time of saying the same thing over & over again in email.)

Then, I monetized the biggest. The paychecks were not huge, but good enough.

In time, I branched out into more affiliate work, and wrote a couple of my own ebooks. They did well enough.

Now, I have started my own independent publishing house, to focus on more in-depth info about specialized and popular topics.

So far, so good!

One thing I would like a view on, and forgive me if this has alrady been asked, does the FTC regulations pose any significant threat to sites created via plug-in-profits.

To be honest, I'm not 100% conversant with the technicalities but I belive the crux of the matter is the uniqueness of a site.

Hi all, my name is Gene Shershen and I am in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I am an Internet old-timer, having been online since 1994. Since that time I have reviewed many Internet opportunities, and tried a few, but none provided the "plug and play" setup and detailed, step-by-step information that Stone gives in his PIPS program. Having tried some other online programs in the past without the kind of support and guidance that Stone provides, I unfortunately wasted my time and money. Stone's PIPS program is also low cost, and easy by comparison. Being on a limited budget, I have no choice but to invest my time into the free, but powerful traffic-generating techniques that Stone advises us to use. As soon as I can afford it, I will enroll in the Advertising Coop. I really believe it is a cost-effective way to generate traffic to my website, in addition to the techniques that I can do myself. I am willing to do what it takes to be successful with the PIPS program. I look forward to the days when I can reap the fruits of my 30 nights of labour! When i began making money online, it was really really addictive, and i basically automated my main money making methods whilst i could try other things out, some things worked, some didn't and i learned from every step of the way!!>

My name is Matt and I have recently purchased the pips site.
I have been messing around with online business for years, in the form of dvd dropshipping, ebay information product sales and all manor of other money making schemes, however none have worked, or given me the financial freedom i would like.
i gave up for a year or so to concentrate on my job, but when my my mother passed away at the end of last year my dad told me of a course he had signed up for and wanted me to put it into action in memory of my mother, as he was going to try it to make them a little money to retire on.
So that is why I have found myself back online and working with the pips program.
I am doing what the 30 day guide is saying, struggling a little bit and dont really know if what I am doing is working, I so badly want to make this work, so that I can give my dad what he wanted and honor my mother.

I am starting to lose heart a bit, but must push on, that is why I joined here. To meet and talk with others who may have the same issues.

Hi my name is Jame Contos my website is MoneyInYourSpareTime.com I have only been a PIP member for three months now I have not had any sales yet but I have been getting people to sign up under my SFI account thru the pip site. I have about 12 Personally sponsored affiliates and 300 co-sponsored affiliates. I have been able to get my site on page 1 on google for Money In Your sparetime and on page 6 with Money In Your Spare Time. I am working hard to get traffic to my site, my first month I only had a few people my site but at the end of Dec. I had 3000 hits to my site but still no PIP sales. Hopefully that will come in time. I am a printer during the day and I have a customer service job I do from home on my computer at night and I do this in my "spare time" ha ha. Trying hard to promote GDI on the traffic exchanges but so far no luck. I have alot to learn but I am on a limited budget, so it's a slow go. I have'nt even touched the other two programs I signed up for the LCM and Empowerism but I am still paying for them. Not shure if I should dump or not since they are costing me money each month. I only have 5 people on my getresponse they came thru pushputton leads. I have'nt figured out yet how to get them any other way yet. So as you can see I need lots of help, so if anyone has some good advice my ears are open. P.S. as long as it does'nt cost me any more money I am already spending close to $300+ per month. If I don't start making some kind of profit soon my wife is goin to wonder what I am doing.

Hello, James:

Welcome to the Warrior Forum and to the Plug-In Profit Site program. Internet Marketing is a learning process and you, like many of us, have found that it is a HUGE learning curve that does not come cheaply, nor does it develop quickly.

There are ways to develop your business with a minimum of expense, but that is all part of the learning curve: some of the methods of marketing (both free and paid) require hands-on experience before you can truly determine whether they are worth your while or not.

I can't advise you on the best methods because they are a matter of experience and opinion. For example, with some of the methods you have mentioned, we have PIPS members who recommend them and we have PIPS members who warn against using them. Who is right? Unfortunately, only you can tell what is right for you.

Your best bet is to hold off on spending more money on new methods until you have researched the effectiveness of those methods here in the WF/PIPS Support forum. You may have to spend time going through the forum page-by-page to seek the topic threads relevant to the questions you seek. That is something I wish I would have done in the beginning. There is a wealth of information and insight here from PIPS members who have come before us.

Regarding your question in your second post about getting links at the bottom of our forum posts, those links are called your "signature" and the way to set them up is to go to the "User CP" (control panel) link near the top of the page on the red bar and select "Edit Signature" from the drop-down menu.
