I have a few sites where I sell e-books and have made quite a lil $ online. I am also not new to this forum as I used to be member under a diff name. But had to sign up again for a diff username after a long absence.

I needed a break from IM and have not done anything in that regard for the past 8 months or so. I guess i got burned out. But I think my energy is renewed and I have started coming back slowly, starting with completing an e-book I was writing before I went on my "sabatical." lol.
I also had a few ideas that I had during my time off and I have begun seriously looking into implementing them.

Have financial security and have more time for my interests, I still have that business, I love the products the people and I do have people under me, but its not really performing the way it should, Our leaders have set it up so we are online and we have seminars, live presentations online and training online, which is great. I don't like approaching warm market I decdied I needed to take it on the interent I did join a system that provided alot of information. I was promoting that site I came across the pips site. It really caught my interest and before I knew I was signing up. I have only been doing it for 2 weeks. I have followed the day to day steps, which at times I find a bit daunting. I do think what Stone has done is great, however I have found it has cost a bit. the $NZ is pretty bad against the US at the moment so what you guys think might be cheap is double for me. I have ordered a Press Release which must be due out any day, and I have organized a blog site as well. I wrote my first article tonight. I did a draft on Wednesday which I thought was ok everything flowed. Then I read the rules with profit co-op and thought I better re word it so don't know how they will receive it. Love the book google cash haven't finished but since I had ventured into PPC with the network marketing I realized the mistakes I made.

I would really appreciate some feed back on how others found there first few weeks. I am on information overload and sometimes I wonder if I have done everything I am suppose to have.
That is the start of my story, I am still working full time, and I really want to make this work and start paying for itself.

Hi Rosemary, My name is Daryl but you'll find me here as Island-affiliate. I found myself in the same situation. Remember you also have a life and it's difficult to apply time management. However, if I'm not mistaken, Stone did say not to purchase things until you get started. Most of the programs with PIP will try to sell you be if you are not comfortable financially, Post here as I have found that there is a tremendous support system and if you are lucky, you may even get a response from Stone. I have seen it happen. If time allows, try to study in spurts. Ex. 50 mins. take a ten min break. do it again, Then recap for 15 to 20 mins. and free your mind and don't think. Thinking and brainstorming is very draining mentally and physically. I'm not telling you what to do , just a few suggestions. I personally found that I too, was overwhelmed. Then someone told me to just take one thing that you like and just work that, like yourarticle or essay. Once you are comfortable then find your next step. Ultimately, get on the Stones forum and ask for help. There are others like you who been there and done that and have got to a point where they want to give back by helping others. Have a Safe and Amazingly special New Year, as you are special.

Hello to all. My name is Peter Gibson and I am a Canadian who lives in Singapore. I just joined the forum as I wish to learn IM as a means to financial freedom. I've seen some people succeed in this area and with the economy tanking like it is I decided now is the time to get down and do something I want to do while I still have the option.

My story is not unlike a post I read while cruising this thread - I made and lost a fortune by 35, and had a major motorcycle accident which left me hospitalized and with a shattered shoulder. That 2 year rehabilitation and the bills from my surgeries had left me with little hope. Savings depleted and I had to start from scratch.

So last year I discovered (thanks to Ed Dale) that internet marketing was a viable, doable and realistic option to make a living online, however my job took me away from my research for the entire year of 2008. My job is now slowing down thanks to the economy and I am determined to make internet marketing my new focus. And I am focused and determined to make a crapload of money from it.

While I am somewhat of a noob, I do have copywrighting experience as I spent 5 years writing for a Canadian magazine. Also, I am a damn quick learner :-)

Hi folks

The names' Chris and I'm a 32 year old web developer from the UK. I'm a php/css/web standards guy in the day, but by night I'm trying to learn the art of Internet Marketing.

With a failed mortgage,a couple of kids and a pretty crummy track record of making money, I need to start using my internet knowledge now and start making some real money, instead of waiting cap-in-hand at the end of each month for my 9-5 payslip, and getting nowhere fast.

In November I started my journey into IM by giving the 'Thirty Day Challenge' a go. I've got a couple of wordpress blogs up and running, one is now PR3, and the other is still struggling to rank. I've pushed a handful of Amazon products and made about $12 in commission & adsense, but although I'm totally committed to making this work, I can't help thinking that my efforts would be better spent signing up to a few good networks and diving into PPC.

I'm a bit apprehensive about PPC, as obviously I can lose money (that I don't have!), but I feel that without a bit of risk there's very little to be gained in life.

So hopefully I can pick up some tips from you guys, about networks, strategies and PPC, and hopefully I can give a little back with my web know-how...
