One of the people receiving my newsletter just emailed me and asked how she could put one of my articles on her blog. Of course the article is Stone's from the autoresponder series. Is there a way she can put it on her blog. It is the one about the movie director calling him.

Hi Robbie, She certainly can but she must keep the resource box in tact which might lead to Stone's sales ID and not your persons. Much better to write her own article with her own resource box.... Take care Jeff Casmer |

She will need to add the EXACT resource box with your link. Unless she joins PIPS and puts her own link there, she should put your own. Lately I have seen a lot of people with websites that take articles and never put in the resource box. This is not allowed but we can not do much about this. Tal |

This is such a good point to note. The issue is a real concern and we can't do much about it ... except set a good example. Since the advent of the Internet and the ease with which anybody can put up a website, common courtesy and outright flaunting (or ignorance of) the copyright laws has become an increasingly common problem. I strongly encourage every PIPS member to be certain to give proper credit where credit is due when using articles from other sites or other marketers. In other words: 1) Get permission 2) Give credit (resource box) to the source of the material If we as concerned, respectable marketers can be diligent in this, it will help to set a positive example for the industry. Thanks for mentioning this, Tal! GT | |

Thanks all. I told her she could use them but needed to leave the resource box intact. Hopefully she will do that.
